A casino welcome package is a sign-up offer split into several parts, typically matched bonuses on your first few deposits plus bundles of spins, sold under one combined headline figure. None of our UK partners runs a multi-deposit package today; Ladbrokes comes closest by spreading up to 500 spins over 10 days from one £10 slots spend. Here's how packages work and how to value one.
A welcome package bundles several bonuses into one headline, but each part has its own conditions.
Add up the deposits, wagering and deadlines a package needs, not just the headline amount.
Since 19 January 2026, packages can't mix casino with sports or bingo, and each bonus's wagering is capped at 10x.
Our five partners all use one-step welcome offers; Ladbrokes' 50 spins a day for 10 days is the nearest thing to a package.
The house edge applies to every bet you place with a bonus; a package doesn't make gambling cheaper.

What is a welcome package at a UK casino?
A welcome package is a set of new-customer bonuses grouped together. Instead of one match on one deposit, the casino offers, say, a match on the first deposit, a smaller match on the second deposit, another on the third deposit, plus spins released in batches. The marketing then adds every part into a single figure, such as "up to £500 and 200 spins".
A package is still just a welcome bonus in several pieces, and each piece is a separate incentive in the eyes of the regulator. That's the key to valuing one: break it back into parts, value each part, and then decide whether you want all of them. Other bonus formats are on our types of casino bonus hub.
Welcome package offers from our partners: what's really on offer
On 5 October 2026 we checked the welcome terms of our five partner casinos. None publishes a multi-deposit package. Each offer has one qualifying step, though two of them deliver their reward in more than one go.

How the parts of a welcome package fit together
Most packages are assembled from the same few building blocks. Knowing them makes any headline easier to decode.

Deposit match
A percentage of a deposit, up to a cap

What the points or level actually pay
Two parts with the same headline can be worth very different amounts. A £50 match at 10x and £50 of no-wagering spins are not equivalent; our comparison of match bonus vs free spins shows why.
Welcome package headline value vs real value
Let's value a made-up package advertised as "up to £200 plus 100 spins": 100% up to £100 on deposit one, 50% up to £100 on deposit two, and 100 spins at 10p on deposit one, all with 10x wagering on bonus funds and cash winnings from the spins. The house edge used below is 4%, the long-run average for a 96% RTP slot.

So "up to £200 plus 100 spins" means about £130 of expected value, and only for someone who deposits £300 and wagers £2,000 within the deadlines. For a player who deposits £20 once, the same package gives a £20 match (about £12 after the average cost of £200 wagering) plus the spins. Our expected value guide shows the method step by step, and individual sessions will vary widely either side of these averages.
Welcome package terms to read part by part
With a single offer you read one set of terms. A welcome package can hide differences between its parts, so check each of these for every stage.
Minimum deposit per stage: stage two's minimum can differ from stage one's.
One deadline or several: whether the package expires a set time after sign-up.
Order and dependency: whether you must take the parts in sequence.
Wagering per part: each bonus can carry up to 10x its own value.
Spin stake and game: the value per spin and the selected games.
Max bet and max win: see casino bonus max bet for how a per-bet cap interacts with the legal slot limits.
Payment exclusions: which methods disqualify each stage.
UK rules require significant conditions to be shown prominently with the offer and full terms to be one click away. The ASA's guidance on free bets and bonuses in gambling ads (opens in a new tab) lists eligibility, deposit or wagering requirements and time limits as significant conditions. Our guide to reading a significant terms box shows where to find them.
How the 2026 rules changed welcome packages
Two changes that took effect on 19 January 2026 reshaped packages in Great Britain. First, wagering on any bonus can't exceed 10 times the bonus, set out in LCCP social responsibility code 5.1.1 (opens in a new tab). Second, an incentive must not include more than one type of gambling product, so the once-common "sports free bet plus casino spins" welcome package is gone. The rewritten code also keeps an older rule: a stage can't be altered or increased because you hit the qualifying spend sooner than the full offer period.
The practical result is that many operators that ran sport and casino bundles now ask you to choose one welcome offer at sign-up. 10bet's terms reflect this: you pick the casino welcome bonus when you register. Our page on choosing a sports or casino welcome offer and our mixed-product promotion ban page explain the change.

The nearest partner offer to a package: Ladbrokes' 10 days of spins
Ladbrokes' offer works like a package in one respect: it delivers its reward in stages. New customers aged 18+ who deposit and spend £10 or more on slots get 50 free spins a day for the first 10 days, up to 500 spins, each worth 10p. Each day's spins must be claimed before 23:59 and then last 7 days. There's no wagering on winnings. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don't qualify. The offer has run since 14 November 2025 until further notice.
Register and verify your account with Ladbrokes.
Deposit using a qualifying method, such as a debit card.
Spend £10 or more on slots.
On each of the first 10 days, claim that day's 50 spins before 23:59.
Use each batch within 7 days on the offer's selected games; check the promotion page for the list.
Winnings from the spins have no wagering; withdraw them under the normal cashier rules.
In value terms, 500 × 10p = £50 of spins if every day is claimed. At an illustrative 96% RTP that's about £48 back on average, but miss three days and the total drops to 350 spins, or £35 of spins. Unlike a multi-deposit package, none of this needs a second payment. More on our Ladbrokes casino bonus and daily free spins pages.
Which kind of welcome offer suits which player
There's no single best structure. The right one depends on how much you'd deposit anyway and how much attention you want to give the terms.
Packages are designed to encourage several deposits early in a relationship with a casino, which is exactly when your spending habits there are being set. Since 31 October 2025, UK casinos must prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit; setting one is the sensible default. Gambling is a paid-for pastime, and over time the house edge means you'll usually lose money. The National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133, free and 24/7, and GamCare (opens in a new tab) offers chat support.
Partner offers to consider instead of a welcome package
Since no partner runs a multi-deposit welcome package, the three offers shown below are the closest honest alternatives. Each is 18+, for new customers, with full terms on the casino's site.
Ladbrokes: up to 500 free spins over 10 days after a £10 slots spend; 10p each; claim daily before 23:59; valid 7 days; no wagering.
Coral: 100 free spins at 10p after depositing and betting £10 on slots; accept within 48 hours; valid 7 days; no wagering on winnings; offer runs to 1 February 2027.
PlayOJO: 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p with a first deposit of £10 or more; no wagering, winnings paid in cash; not available in Northern Ireland.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both operated by LC International Limited, so read the terms before assuming you can claim both. Our Coral vs Ladbrokes bonus comparison sets them side by side.
No partner runs a multi-deposit welcome package. Ladbrokes' 10 days of spins is the closest structure; Coral and PlayOJO are single bundles. 18+, new customers, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
What is a welcome package in a casino?
It's a new-customer offer made up of several parts, such as matched bonuses on your first two or three deposits and batches of bonus spins, advertised under one combined figure. Each part has its own conditions, including minimum deposit, wagering of no more than 10x the bonus, a maximum bet and an expiry date. To value one, break it into parts and value each separately. Our how casino bonuses work page covers the basics.
Is a welcome package better than a single welcome bonus?
Not automatically. A package usually has a bigger headline, but reaching it needs several deposits, more wagering and more deadlines. A single offer, especially a no-wagering one, is easier to understand and value. If you'd only make one deposit, the extra stages are worth nothing to you. Compare the expected value of the parts you'd really use. Our welcome bonus page compares the single offers our partners run.
Which UK casino has the biggest welcome package?
We can't name one from our partners, because none of them runs a multi-deposit package. Their offers range from £8 of no-wagering spins at PlayOJO to a 50% match up to £100 at Casumo. Bigger isn't the same as better: a larger bonus needs more wagering, which costs more on average. Our page on the bonus with the highest value compares the five offers on expected value, not headline size.
Can a welcome package include sports and casino offers?
Not any more in Great Britain. Since 19 January 2026, Gambling Commission rules ban incentives that include more than one type of gambling product, such as betting, casino or bingo. A combined sports and casino welcome bundle is no longer allowed, so operators with both products now ask you to choose one welcome offer. Our page on choosing a sports or casino welcome offer explains how that choice works.
How much wagering can a welcome package have?
Each bonus within it can have wagering of no more than 10 times that bonus, under the rule in force since 19 January 2026. A package with a £100 first-stage bonus and a £50 second-stage bonus could therefore require up to £1,000 and £500 of wagering respectively. Spins paid with cash winnings carry no wagering at all. See our page on whether 10x wagering is good for how that compares with older offers.
Do I have to claim every part of a welcome package?
No. You can stop after any stage, and you keep the right to withdraw your deposit balance at any time. Some packages make later parts depend on earlier ones, so skipping stage one may mean losing the rest, and the terms must say so clearly. Taking only the parts that suit your budget is a sensible approach. Our guide on how to opt out of bonuses explains how to decline a stage.
What does 'up to' mean in a welcome package?
It means the maximum available to someone who deposits the most allowed at every stage. A 100% match up to £100 gives £20 on a £20 deposit and £100 only on a £100 deposit. With a package, the 'up to' figure adds the caps from every stage, so few players reach it. Read the cap and match percentage for each stage. Our bonus cap entry explains how caps limit the real match.
Are Ladbrokes' daily spins a welcome package?
Not in the multi-deposit sense. Ladbrokes gives 50 free spins a day for 10 days, up to 500, after one deposit and £10 spend on slots, so you only pay once. The spins are 10p each, must be claimed before 23:59 each day, last 7 days and have no wagering. Missing a day means losing that day's spins. It's 18+, new customers only, and terms apply. See Ladbrokes free spins for full details.
How long do I have to use a welcome package?
It varies, and packages often have more than one clock. There may be a deadline for the whole package counted from registration, a claim window for each stage, and a validity period for each bonus once credited. Wagering usually has its own time limit too, such as 7 days at Casumo or 3 days at 10bet for their single offers. Our bonus expiry guide explains the different time limits.
Can I withdraw my money in the middle of a welcome package?
Yes. UK guidance says you must be able to withdraw your deposit balance at any time, even while a bonus is active, without meeting wagering on your own money. What you may give up is the active bonus, any winnings from it and, if the terms say so, later stages of the package. Deposit and bonus balances must be shown separately so you can see what's yours. See can you withdraw a casino bonus for more.
