Short answer: A maximum bet rule limits how much you may stake on one spin or hand while a bonus is active. Casumo's is £5. Breaking it can void the bonus and its winnings.

Why the rule exists

Large bets let a player clear wagering in a few lucky spins. The limit keeps bonus play at ordinary stakes.

How it overlaps with the law

Online slots in Britain are already limited to £5 a spin, or £2 for ages 18 to 24, so on slots a £5 maximum bet rule now adds little. It still matters on table games, where stakes can be higher.

How people break it by accident

By switching to a table game mid-bonus, or by a slot's side feature that doubles the stake.

Wager-free spins

Have a fixed stake of 10p, so the question does not arise.
