The bonus with highest value depends on how you measure it. By headline size, Casumo's £100 match leads, but it needs a £200 deposit and £1,000 of wagering. Per pound you put in, Ladbrokes leads: £10 of slots play brings up to 500 spins at 10p, worth up to £50, with no wagering. 18+, terms apply; every figure here is a long-run average, not a forecast.
Face value, average value, value per pound and effort give four different winners.
Biggest headline: Casumo, £100 bonus for a £200 deposit, worth about £60 on average after £1,000 of wagering.
Best return per pound risked: Ladbrokes, up to £50 of no-wagering spins for £10 of slots play.
Wagering, deadlines, max-win caps and excluded payments all reduce what a bonus is really worth.

Bonus with highest value: which measure are you using?
Ask five people which casino bonus has the highest value and you may get five answers, all defensible. One looks at the biggest number in the banner. Another subtracts the cost of wagering. A third divides by the deposit, and a fourth counts the hours needed. This page ranks our five partner welcome offers each way, using the offer terms last checked on 5 October 2026, so you can pick the measure that matches how you actually play.
Two ground rules apply throughout. Values are long-run averages based on a game's RTP, so a single session can land anywhere. And no bonus turns gambling into a way to make money: the house edge still applies to every pound you stake, bonus or not.

On face value alone Casumo wins comfortably. But it is the only offer in the table where reaching the top figure needs a three-figure deposit, which is a good reason to look further than the headline. Our page on the Casumo casino bonus sets out its 7-day limit and £5 max bet.

Here wagering is costed at a 4% house edge (a 96% RTP game), except PlayOJO's spins, which use Big Bass Bonanza's published 96.71%. Each figure covers the bonus element only.

Casumo stays on top, but the gap to Ladbrokes shrinks from £50 to about £12 once £40 of average wagering cost comes off. That cost is why the 10x wagering cap matters so much: it limits how much of a bonus the play-through can consume. Try different amounts in the wagering calculator.

By this yardstick Ladbrokes is the bonus with the highest value by a wide margin, provided you claim every daily batch. Casumo drops to last because its 50% match gives you 50p of bonus per pound deposited, before wagering. The Ladbrokes casino bonus page explains the 23:59 daily claim rule, and big bonus vs small bonus explores the same pattern more widely.
What quietly lowers a bonus's real value
Missed days. Each Ladbrokes batch of 50 spins left unclaimed removes £5 of face value.
Tight deadlines. 10bet's £250 of wagering must be done in 3 days; Casumo's £1,000 in 7. An unfinished bonus is usually lost.
Winnings caps. 10bet caps bonus winnings at £1,000, which trims the rare large result. See casino bonus max win.
Excluded payment methods. Coral, Ladbrokes and 10bet all exclude some e-wallets; paying the wrong way means no bonus at all.
Game RTP. Coral's and Ladbrokes' spins run on games the offer selects. A lower-RTP game lowers the average; the RTP must be shown before play, so check the game's information screen. Our RTP information rules page explains the requirement.
Max bet. Casumo's £5 limit while a bonus is active, and the £2 legal limit on slots for 18 to 24-year-olds.
Why the biggest headline is rarely the highest value bonus
Before 2026, a large headline bonus often came with wagering big enough to wipe out its value. The Gambling Commission used the example of a £10 bonus with 50x wagering, which needed £500 of play; at a 4% house edge that play costs about £20 on average, twice the bonus. Since 19 January 2026, the Commission's rules have capped wagering at 10x, as its announcement on safer and simpler promotions (opens in a new tab) explains, so at UK-licensed casinos a bonus at 10x on a 96% slot keeps about 60% of its face value on average.
PlayOJO's welcome offer ranks last on face value, but the casino also runs OJOplus, which pays money back on every game played with no wagering. We don't put a figure on it here because we have no verified rate to quote, and its value depends entirely on how much you play. The welcome spins themselves are paid as cash with no wagering. Our OJOplus vs cashback comparison and the PlayOJO casino bonus page explain how it works.

High value is not a reason to deposit more
A bigger average bonus value does not make gambling cheaper or safer overall; the long-run cost of play stays the same. Depositing £200 to reach Casumo's cap only makes sense if you were going to spend £200 on casino games anyway. Our guide on when to say no to a bonus covers the warning signs. Frequently asked questions
Which UK casino bonus has the highest value?
It depends on the measure. Casumo's 50% match up to £100 has the biggest headline and the highest average value at its cap, about £60 after £1,000 of wagering, but needs a £200 deposit. Ladbrokes gives the most value per pound: £10 of slots play brings up to 500 spins at 10p, worth up to £50, with no wagering. Coral's 100 spins are the simplest. See what is the best casino bonus UK for a fuller answer. 18+, terms apply.
How do you calculate the value of a casino bonus?
Subtract the average cost of wagering from the face value. For a match bonus, multiply the bonus by its wagering multiple, then by the house edge: a £25 bonus at 10x needs £250, which costs about £10 at a 4% edge, leaving about £15. For wager-free spins, multiply spins by stake by RTP: 100 spins at 10p on a 96% slot average £9.60. Our guide on how to calculate wagering requirements has more worked examples.
Is a bigger bonus always better value?
No. A bigger bonus usually needs a bigger deposit and more wagering, so the value per pound you put in can fall. Casumo's £100 bonus averages about £60 after wagering but needs £200, which is about 30p of value per pound. Ladbrokes' spins average about £48 for £10 of slots play. Bigger deposits also mean more of your own money exposed to the house edge. Our big bonus vs small bonus comparison looks at this in detail.
Are no wagering free spins higher value than a deposit bonus?
Often they are, per pound you deposit, because none of their value is lost to play-through. A wager-free spin is worth its stake times the game's RTP on average, so 100 spins at 10p on a 96% slot average £9.60. A matched bonus at 10x loses about 40% of its face value to wagering on a 96% slot. Spins have fixed stakes and game lists, though. Our page on no wagering free spins explains the format.
Does a high value bonus mean I am likely to win?
No. A bonus's average value describes what happens across a very large number of plays; it says nothing reliable about one session. Most short sessions on high-volatility slots end below the average, and a few end well above it. The house edge applies to every stake, so over time losses are the expected outcome. Bonuses don't change a game's odds. Our answer to can you lose money with free spins covers how this plays out.
Why does Ladbrokes rank so high on value per pound?
Because a single £10 of slots play brings up to 500 spins at 10p, a face value of up to £50, and spin winnings carry no wagering. No other partner gives that much spin value for £10. The condition is effort: 50 spins arrive each day for 10 days, each batch must be claimed before 23:59, and each is valid for 7 days. Missing days cuts the value. See Ladbrokes free spins for the daily routine and selected games.
What is the highest value bonus for a small deposit?
For £10, Ladbrokes gives the highest face value, up to £50 of spins over 10 days, followed by Coral's £10 of spins and PlayOJO's £8. All three are wager-free. For £20 to £25, 10bet's 100% match adds up to £25 of bonus funds with £250 of wagering in 3 days. Casumo's offer starts at £20 but gives only 50%. Our best bonus for 10 pounds page compares the smallest budgets in depth.
Do max win caps reduce a bonus's value?
Yes, a little, because they cut off the rare very large result that is part of the average. 10bet caps bonus winnings at £1,000, which on a £25 bonus only matters in unusual sessions, but it still trims the long-run figure. The Gambling Commission's guidance bans caps on withdrawing your own deposit balance, which is a separate rule. Our max cashout glossary entry explains the difference between the two.
Does OJOplus make PlayOJO the highest value casino?
We can't say, because we have no verified rate for OJOplus to calculate with. It pays money back on every game played with no wagering, so its value grows with how much you play, which also means more of your money exposed to the house edge. The welcome offer itself is 80 spins at 10p on Big Bass Bonanza, worth £8 at face value. See PlayOJO casino bonus for current terms and how OJOplus is paid.
Has the 10x cap made UK bonuses better value?
For bonuses that carry wagering, yes. Since 19 January 2026, wagering can't exceed 10 times the bonus, so on a 96% slot the play-through costs about 40% of the bonus on average and roughly 60% of the face value remains. Under older terms of 35x or 50x, the average cost of wagering could exceed the bonus itself. Wager-free spins were not affected. Our wagering 10x vs 35x page shows the side-by-side maths.
