A bank transfer casino bonus is a welcome offer claimed with money sent straight from your current account. Old-style manual transfers aren’t a published deposit option at Coral or Ladbrokes, but instant Pay by Bank deposits are, and neither offer names them as excluded. Casumo, PlayOJO and 10bet list Trustly or Instant Banking. 18+, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes don’t take manual bank transfer deposits, but they do take Pay by Bank from £5, which isn’t on either offer’s named exclusion list.
Bank withdrawals are widely available: 2–4 business days after approval at Coral and Ladbrokes, up to 3 business days at 10bet and up to 5 days at Casumo.
Several bank gambling blocks don’t cover bank transfers, so set casino deposit limits as well.
Wagering on any UK casino bonus has been capped at 10x the bonus since 19 January 2026.

Bank transfer casino bonus: what qualifies and what doesn’t
‘Bank transfer’ can mean a payment you key into your banking app using the casino’s sort code and account number, or an instant open banking payment that you approve in your bank’s app from the casino cashier. Only the second kind is published as a deposit option at Coral and Ladbrokes, where it’s called Pay by Bank. Their help centres mark the separate Fast Bank Transfer service as withdrawal-only.
So the practical answer to ‘can I get a bank transfer casino bonus?’ is yes, through instant bank payments rather than manual transfers. Coral’s offer excludes Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards, and Ladbrokes excludes prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers. Pay by Bank isn’t on either list. Our casino bonus payment methods hub compares every method across the partners.

Open banking payments are the ones that suit a bonus, because they arrive straight away. Trustly’s help centre (opens in a new tab) describes the process as choosing your bank and approving the payment with your bank’s security method, and Trustly says it never stores your bank login details. Our pages on the Pay by Bank casino bonus and the Trustly casino bonus go deeper into each provider, and Trustly vs Pay by Bank sets them side by side.

Why manual bank transfers rarely suit a welcome offer
Even where a casino accepts manual transfers, they fit welcome offers badly, for three reasons.
Timing. Welcome offers run on tight clocks: 10bet asks for your first deposit within 7 days of sign-up and then gives 3 days for wagering, and Coral gives 48 hours to accept its spins once you qualify. PlayOJO notes that some deposit methods can take up to 3 working days to be credited.
Matching. A manual payment has to be matched to your account by reference. A missing or mistyped reference can delay crediting, and a late credit may fall outside the offer window.
First-deposit rules. Many offers apply only to your first deposit. If the first money to land is a non-qualifying one, the offer may be lost for good; our first deposit bonus page explains why.
Open banking avoids all three, because the cashier starts the payment and the money shows up straight away. That’s why it’s the bank route we’d point to for a qualifying deposit.
Worked examples: a bank-funded casino bonus from deposit to payout
Coral with Pay by Bank
You deposit £20 by Pay by Bank and bet £10 on slots. Coral then offers 100 free spins at 10p, which is £10 in stake value; you have 48 hours to accept and 7 days to use them. At a 96% RTP the spins return about £9.60 on average, paid without wagering. Requesting a Fast Bank Transfer withdrawal after approval means 2–4 business days to your account, the minimum is £5, and Coral says it charges no withdrawal fees.
10bet with an instant bank payment
You choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up and deposit £25 within 7 days. 10bet matches it with £25, and you must wager £250 on slots within 3 days. At a 4% house edge that wagering costs about £10 on average, and bonus winnings are capped at £1,000. 10bet publishes up to 3 business days for bank transfer withdrawals.

How to claim a casino bonus with a bank payment
Open the offer page and read the significant terms: payment exclusions, minimum deposit, qualifying bet and expiry.
Register and pass age and identity checks, which UK casinos must complete before you can deposit or play.
Set a deposit limit at the prompt before your first deposit (required since 31 October 2025).
In the cashier, choose Pay by Bank, Trustly or Instant Banking rather than a manual transfer, select your bank and approve the payment in your banking app.
Check the deposit shows in your balance, then complete the qualifying step, such as the £10 slots bet at Coral.
Accept and use the spins or bonus before the deadline, then request any withdrawal to your verified bank account.
Bank transfer withdrawals after a bonus: timings and fees
Withdrawal speed has two parts: the casino’s internal approval and the bank leg. Both Entain brands say their timeframes from instantly to five banking days are on top of internal processing. 10bet’s withdrawal help page (opens in a new tab) gives up to 3 business days for bank transfers, Casumo shows up to 5 days for bank payouts and approves or denies requests within 3 days, and PlayOJO says most payments are processed within a few hours.
Fees are low across the board: Coral and Ladbrokes charge none, Casumo charges £3 only on withdrawals under £10, and 10bet doesn’t publish a fee. You can always withdraw your own deposited balance while a bonus is active, under the CMA’s 2018 undertakings and Commission guidance. Our withdrawal rules page and the glossary entry for pending withdrawal explain the rest, including the ban on reverse withdrawals.
Bank gambling blocks and the bank transfer gap
Many people turn on a bank gambling block and assume every route is closed. Most blocks work on card payments, though, so bank transfers can slip past. Revolut’s help page (opens in a new tab) says its block doesn’t affect bank transfers or payments through third-party apps, and Lloyds Bank’s gambling support page (opens in a new tab) says its freeze doesn’t cover direct debits or bank transfers. The Gambling Commission’s bank list notes that HSBC’s restriction includes its Pay by Bank app.
Our Monzo and Revolut pages explain how those banks’ blocks work in more detail.
UK rules that apply to a bank-funded casino bonus
Wagering cap. Since 19 January 2026, wagering can’t exceed 10x the bonus, under the Gambling Commission’s rewards and bonuses code. See the 10x wagering cap.
Single-product offers. From the same date, an offer can’t mix casino with betting, bingo or lottery.
No reward for speed. An offer can’t be changed or made bigger because you reach the qualifying spend sooner than the offer period allows.
Your money stays yours. You can withdraw your deposit at any time, and wagering can’t be applied to your deposit balance.
Financial checks. Since 28 February 2025, casinos run financial vulnerability checks once net deposits pass £150 in a rolling 30 days; see financial vulnerability checks.
Bank transfers come from your own current account, so the 2020 credit card ban doesn’t usually come into play, but any credit-funded route is still off limits for gambling with a UK-licensed operator.
Is a bank transfer casino bonus worth it?
Advantages
Deposits by Pay by Bank start at £5 at Coral and Ladbrokes and aren’t on either offer’s exclusion list.
Your bank’s own login or biometrics approves each payment; no card details are shared.
Bank withdrawals are offered by four partners, with no fees at Coral and Ladbrokes.
Drawbacks
Manual transfers aren’t published at Coral or Ladbrokes and can be slow to credit elsewhere.
Bank withdrawals can take several business days after approval.
Card-based gambling blocks may not stop bank transfers.
For most people the method is a means to an end. If Pay by Bank qualifies and you’re comfortable with it, you get the same offer as a card user. Whether the offer itself suits you is a separate question, covered in is a casino bonus worth it?.
Safer gambling with bank payments
Instant bank payments are quick, so decide on a budget before you open the cashier and set a matching limit; our guide to setting deposit limits shows where each partner keeps the setting. Casinos must stop new bonuses for customers showing strong signs of harm, and a time-out or self-exclusion stops offers too.
Free, confidential support is available from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, run by GamCare and open 24/7, and through NHS gambling clinics. Our safer gambling page lists the main services.
Where a bank transfer casino bonus comes closest
The closest fit is an instant Pay by Bank deposit at Coral or Ladbrokes, where the method is listed from £5 and isn’t among the named exclusions. Coral gives 100 free spins after you deposit and bet £10 on slots (10p each, selected games, 48 hours to accept, valid 7 days, no wagering on winnings) from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027. Ladbrokes gives 50 free spins a day for 10 days, up to 500, after you deposit and spend £10 on slots (10p each, claim before 23:59 daily, valid 7 days, no wagering).
The two brands share an operator, so one person may not be able to take both offers; check the terms. PlayOJO names Trustly on its help page and gives 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza (10p each, no wagering, winnings in cash) on a first deposit of £10 or more, excluding Northern Ireland. All offers are for new customers aged 18+, and terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes accept Pay by Bank deposits and don’t name them among excluded methods; PlayOJO names Trustly on its help page. 18+, new customers, terms apply: check each offer’s payment line before depositing.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Can I claim a casino bonus with a bank transfer?
Yes, if the transfer is an instant open banking payment that the offer accepts. Coral and Ladbrokes take Pay by Bank deposits from £5, and neither names Pay by Bank among the methods excluded from its welcome offer. Manual transfers, where you send money using the casino’s account details, aren’t a published deposit option at those two brands. Casumo lists Trustly and Instant Banking, and PlayOJO names Trustly. Check the offer’s payment line before you pay; our Pay by Bank casino bonus page has more detail.
What is the difference between Pay by Bank and a bank transfer?
Pay by Bank is an open banking payment started from the casino’s cashier and approved in your banking app, so it arrives straight away. A manual bank transfer is one you set up yourself using the casino’s account details and a reference, which can take longer to be matched to your account. For a bonus, the instant version is far more practical, because offers have deadlines and first-deposit rules. The Trustly vs Pay by Bank comparison explains how the providers differ.
How long do bank transfer withdrawals take after a bonus?
It depends on the casino. Fast Bank Transfer at Coral and Ladbrokes is published as 2–4 business days once the withdrawal is approved, 10bet says up to 3 business days for bank transfers, and Casumo shows up to 5 days, with approval decided within 3 days. Before any of that, the casino’s internal review must approve the request, and incomplete verification can slow it down. Our guide to how long withdrawals take after a bonus compares the methods at each partner.
Is there a fee for bank withdrawals from a casino?
Usually not. Neither Coral nor Ladbrokes charges withdrawal fees, Casumo charges £3 only when you withdraw less than £10, and 10bet doesn’t publish a fee. Commission guidance says any withdrawal charge mustn’t exceed the direct cost of processing it. Your own bank is unlikely to charge for receiving a UK payment, but check your account terms. The glossary entry on withdrawal limits explains other restrictions that can apply to payouts.
Does a bank gambling block stop bank transfers to casinos?
Often it doesn’t. Revolut says its gambling block doesn’t affect bank transfers or payments through third-party apps, and Lloyds says its freeze doesn’t cover direct debits or bank transfers. HSBC is listed by the Gambling Commission as including its Pay by Bank app. If you rely on a block, add casino deposit limits or self-exclusion through GAMSTOP, which works whatever payment method you use. Our page on bonuses and GAMSTOP explains how self-exclusion interacts with offers.
What is the minimum bank deposit for a casino bonus?
The cashier minimum and the offer’s qualifying amount are different things. Coral and Ladbrokes publish a £5 minimum for Pay by Bank, but their offers need £10 bet or spent on slots. Casumo’s cashier minimum is £10 for all methods, while its welcome offer needs £20. PlayOJO’s spins need a first deposit of £10 or more. 10bet doesn’t publish a general minimum. See what is the minimum deposit for a bonus? for how to read both figures.
Can I withdraw a bonus to my bank account?
You can withdraw winnings to your bank account once any wagering is complete, and you can withdraw your own deposit at any time. No-wagering spins, like Coral’s, Ladbrokes’ and PlayOJO’s, pay winnings as cash straight away. Casumo’s and 10bet’s match bonuses need 10x wagering first, and 10bet caps bonus winnings at £1,000. Both Entain brands run closed-loop payments, so money may go back to the method you used to deposit. Our guide can you withdraw a casino bonus? explains the rules.
Is Pay by Bank safe for casino deposits?
Each Pay by Bank payment uses your bank’s own login or biometrics to approve each payment, and providers such as Trustly say they never store your bank login and can’t make a payment without your authorisation. Trustly’s UK company is an FCA-authorised payment institution. The casino side matters too: use only UK-licensed casinos so your account is covered by Gambling Commission rules and an approved dispute service. Our how to check a casino licence guide shows how to confirm a licence.
Why might my bank deposit not trigger the welcome bonus?
The most common reasons are that you didn’t opt in where required, deposited less than the qualifying amount, made a different deposit first, or used a method the terms exclude. A manual transfer that arrives late can also miss the offer window. Casumo, for example, needs an opt-in and a £20 first deposit, and 10bet needs the casino welcome bonus chosen at sign-up. If something looks wrong, contact support straight away and keep screenshots. Our list of bonus mistakes covers other pitfalls.
