A Trustly casino bonus is a welcome offer claimed with a Trustly bank payment, and none of our five partners names Trustly as an excluded method. PlayOJO and Casumo both list Trustly, and PlayOJO's offer terms name no payment exclusions at all. Coral and Ladbrokes don't use Trustly: their Pay by Bank service runs through a different provider, TrueLayer.
Trustly isn't named as excluded by any partner's welcome offer on the terms we checked.
PlayOJO and Casumo name Trustly as a payment method; PlayOJO's 80 spins offer lists no payment exclusions.
Coral and Ladbrokes offer Pay by Bank through TrueLayer instead, so Trustly itself isn't on their lists.
Trustly UK Limited is an FCA-authorised payment institution and says it never stores your bank login.
18+ and full terms apply; paying by bank doesn't change the odds or the house edge.

Does Trustly qualify for a casino bonus?
On the published terms, yes, wherever the casino accepts Trustly. No partner of ours lists Trustly among the deposit types that can't claim its welcome offer. The exclusion lists target e-wallets and prepaid products (PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe, prepaid cards), and Trustly is neither: it moves money directly from your bank account.
The real question is which casinos take it. PlayOJO's help page names Trustly alongside debit cards, Payz and Apple Pay, and Casumo's homepage FAQ lists Trustly among its deposit options. A third-party listing shows a Trustly or pay-by-bank option at 10bet, whose own help centre doesn't list methods. Neither Coral nor Ladbrokes mentions Trustly; their bank payment option is a separate service.

Trustly vs TrueLayer: why Coral and Ladbrokes differ
Trustly is one company offering what's now commonly called Pay by Bank: you choose your bank at the cashier and approve the payment in your banking app or online banking, without typing card details. Both Coral and Ladbrokes offer the same kind of payment, but their help centres say it runs through TrueLayer. From a player's point of view the experience is similar; from a terms point of view, Trustly simply isn't one of their listed methods.
So if you arrive at Coral or Ladbrokes looking for Trustly, the nearest equivalent is their Pay by Bank option, which neither welcome offer excludes. Our Pay by Bank casino bonus page covers that route, and Trustly vs Pay by Bank compares the two side by side.
Who runs Trustly in the UK
According to Trustly's UK company page (opens in a new tab), Trustly UK Limited is an Authorised Payment Institution regulated by the FCA under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 (FRN 1005703, company number 08841430). Its parent, Trustly Group AB, is a Swedish payment institution supervised by Finansinspektionen. The company provides pay-ins, pay-outs, Direct Debit payments and identity and account verification for merchants.
On security, Trustly explains how it protects payments (opens in a new tab): it says it never stores your bank login details and can't make a payment without your authorisation. Trustly's help pages don't say whether consumers pay a fee, so we don't state one; check the casino's cashier, and see our payment methods hub for how other methods compare.
How to claim a Trustly casino bonus step by step
The order below follows PlayOJO's offer, the one that most clearly accepts Trustly, with notes for Casumo and 10bet.
Register through the offer page. PlayOJO's welcome offer is for new UK customers outside Northern Ireland and only works through the designated offer link.
Complete age and identity verification, which UK rules require before you can deposit or play.
Set a deposit limit when prompted before your first deposit.
Opt in at Casumo, or choose the casino welcome bonus at 10bet, if that's your offer.
Choose Trustly at the cashier, pick your bank and approve the payment in your banking app: £10 minimum for PlayOJO, £20 for Casumo.
Check the spins or bonus have appeared. PlayOJO's help page says free spins expire after 24 hours and its Rewards section shows the deadline.
Play the spins or wagering on the eligible games only.
Trustly casino bonus values worked out
Paying through Trustly doesn't make an offer larger or smaller. These are the values of the three offers that may accept it, with average outcomes over the long run. Short sessions can come out well above or below these figures.

PlayOJO's spins have no wagering requirements, so the average value is close to the face value. With Casumo and 10bet, the bonus has to be played through first, which costs money on average and may not be completed in time. Casumo's £5 maximum bet means £500 of wagering takes at least 100 bets. Our no wagering bonus guide explains why the two kinds of offer aren't directly comparable.
Withdrawing after a Trustly casino bonus
Trustly handles pay-outs as well as pay-ins for merchants, but whether a casino uses it for withdrawals is the casino's choice. PlayOJO's help page (opens in a new tab) says it processes most payments within a few hours, sends withdrawals back to the deposit method where possible and lets you withdraw as little as you want. Casumo's published withdrawal times cover cards, bank (up to 5 days), PayPal, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter, without a Trustly line.
Published withdrawal details for Trustly depositors
Bank gambling blocks are mostly built around card payments, and a Trustly payment isn't a card payment. Revolut says its gambling block (opens in a new tab) doesn't affect bank transfers or payments through third-party apps, and Lloyds says its gambling freeze doesn't cover direct debits or bank transfers. So a card block may not stop a Trustly deposit.
If you've set up a block to control gambling, treat bank payments as a gap and close it with other tools: casino deposit limits, time-outs and GAMSTOP, which works across every British-licensed site. Our bonuses and gambling harm guide covers warning signs, and the Revolut casino bonus page explains that bank's block in detail.

What the published facts say
"Trustly is an e-wallet, so it's excluded"
Trustly pays from your bank account; no partner names it as excluded
"Coral and Ladbrokes take Trustly"
Their Pay by Bank runs through TrueLayer; Trustly isn't listed
"Trustly sees your bank password"

"Paying by bank makes a bonus better value"
The method doesn't change the offer, the RTP or the house edge

UK-licensed casinos must verify age and identity before any deposit
That last myth matters. Sites advertising Trustly as a way to avoid verification are usually unlicensed, and you'd have none of the Gambling Commission's protections. See casino bonus without verification for why UK sites can't offer that.
Best fit for a Trustly casino bonus
PlayOJO is the closest match: it names Trustly on its help page and its welcome offer names no payment exclusions. Casumo also names Trustly, with a larger cash bonus but 10x wagering and payment restrictions to check. 10bet's offer doesn't exclude bank payments, though its Trustly acceptance comes only from a third-party listing.

Frequently asked questions
Is Trustly excluded from casino welcome bonuses?
Not at our partners, on the terms we checked. None of the five welcome offers names Trustly among its excluded deposit types; the lists focus on e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill and Neteller, plus Paysafe and prepaid cards. Casumo does say payment restrictions apply without naming them, so read its full terms. Other casinos can set different rules, so always check the excluded payments clause. Our guide to how payment exclusions work explains what to look for.
Can I use Trustly at Coral or Ladbrokes?
Not as Trustly. Both Coral and Ladbrokes offer Pay by Bank, but their help centres say it's provided by TrueLayer, and Trustly isn't one of their listed methods. Their Pay by Bank works in a similar way, approving the payment in your banking app, and it isn't named as excluded from either welcome offer. Ladbrokes and Coral publish a £5 minimum for it. The Pay by Bank casino bonus page covers that route in full.
Does PlayOJO accept Trustly for its 80 free spins?
PlayOJO names Trustly on its help page, and the offer terms we hold list no payment exclusions, so a £10 first deposit by Trustly should qualify for the 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza. The spins are 10p each with no wagering, and winnings are paid in cash. The offer is only for new UK customers outside Northern Ireland and only through the designated link. See PlayOJO free spins for the full terms.
Is Trustly safe for casino deposits?
Trustly UK Limited is authorised by the FCA as a payment institution (FRN 1005703), and Trustly says it never stores your bank login and can't take a payment without your approval. You confirm each deposit with your own bank's security, such as a fingerprint or passcode. Safety also depends on the casino: only use sites licensed by the Gambling Commission. Our guide on telling a licensed casino from an unlicensed one shows how to check.
Does Trustly charge a fee for casino payments?
Trustly's help pages don't say whether consumers pay a fee, so we can't confirm one either way. The casino's cashier should show any charge before you approve the payment. On the casino side, Casumo charges £3 on withdrawals under £10, while PlayOJO and 10bet don't publish withdrawal fees. Your bank may have its own charges for some account types. For a broader comparison, see how to choose a payment method for a bonus.
How fast are withdrawals for Trustly users?
It depends on the casino rather than Trustly. PlayOJO says it processes most payments within a few hours and pays back to the deposit method where possible. Casumo quotes up to 5 days for bank withdrawals after approval, and 10bet up to 3 business days for bank transfers. Neither Casumo nor 10bet publishes Trustly as a withdrawal route, so you may be paid by bank transfer instead. Our payout time entry explains the stages.
Will my bank's gambling block stop a Trustly payment?
Not necessarily, because most bank blocks are designed for card payments. Revolut says its block doesn't cover bank transfers or payments through third-party apps, and Lloyds says its freeze doesn't cover direct debits or bank transfers. If you depend on a block, add a casino deposit limit and consider GAMSTOP, which works regardless of payment method. For free support, the National Gambling Helpline is 0808 8020 133. See how to self-exclude.
Is Trustly the same as a bank transfer for bonus terms?
It's closer to a bank transfer than to an e-wallet, because money goes straight from your bank account, but casinos list it as its own method. That matters when you read the terms: an exclusion of "bank transfers" wouldn't automatically cover Trustly, and the reverse is also true. None of our partners excludes either for its welcome offer. Our bank transfer casino bonus page explains how traditional transfers are treated.
Can I use Trustly for Casumo's 50% bonus?
Casumo lists Trustly as a deposit method, and Trustly isn't named in the payment exclusions we hold for the welcome offer, although Casumo says game, play and payment restrictions apply. A £20 minimum deposit gives a £10 bonus; the £100 maximum needs a £200 deposit. The bonus must be wagered 10 times within 7 days at no more than £5 per bet. Check our Casumo max bet page before you play.
Do I need a Trustly account to claim a casino bonus?
No, you don't need a separate Trustly account. Trustly explains that you choose your bank at the checkout and approve the payment with your bank's usual security method, so your online banking login does the work. You do need a UK casino account that has passed age and identity checks before you can deposit. If the payment fails, see why was my bonus not credited? for common problems.
