A craps bonus is a casino offer whose funds or wagering can be used on craps, the dice game played on a table layout. At UK-licensed casinos it is one of the hardest bonuses to find: craps is often excluded from wagering or counts very little, largely because some of its bets carry a tiny house edge. None of our partners runs one, so here is the honest maths.
Craps is commonly excluded from bonus wagering or weighted very low, and no partner of ours runs a craps bonus.
Craps bets vary hugely: Pass Line keeps about 1.41% on average, while Any Seven keeps about 16.67%.
Opposite bets (such as Pass and Don’t Pass together) are typically prohibited while a bonus is active.
Bonus wagering is capped at 10x since 19 January 2026, but low weighting can still multiply the stakes needed; 18+, terms apply.

Craps bonus basics: what it is and why it is rare
Craps is a dice game. A ‘shooter’ rolls two dice, and players bet on the outcome of that roll or a series of rolls. Online you will meet it either as an RNG table, where software rolls the dice, or as a live dealer game streamed from a studio, though many UK casinos don’t carry craps at all.
A craps bonus would be bonus money you could stake on craps, or a bonus whose wagering requirements craps bets would help clear. In practice, UK bonus terms usually list craps among excluded games or give it a very small game weighting. Our game bonuses hub shows how craps compares with other non-slot games.
Up front: none of our five partners (Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo, 10bet) offers a craps bonus, and we don’t claim any of them carries craps. Check each casino’s lobby.
Craps house edge by bet, and why it shapes any bonus
Craps is unusual because its bets range from among the lowest house edges in the casino to some of the highest, all on the same table. The figures below follow from the probabilities of two dice and the standard payouts; Wizard of Odds’ craps guide (opens in a new tab) lists them in full, along with variations.

The zero-edge Odds bet is the heart of the issue for casinos. A bonus that counted Odds bets fully could be cleared at no average cost, so terms either exclude craps entirely, exclude specific bets, or set a weighting low enough to offset it. Our house edge entry explains how these figures are calculated.
Craps bonus weighting: worked examples at 10x
Say a casino gave a £30 bonus at the maximum 10x, so £300 must be wagered, and allowed craps at a set contribution percentage. Using Pass Line at about 1.41% as the bet:

Craps play doesn’t help
Switch the bet to Any Seven at about 16.67%, and even 100% weighting would cost about £50 on average to clear £300, more than the bonus itself. So the bet you choose matters as much as the weighting. All of these are long-run averages: individual sessions can swing far from them, and a bonus never changes the odds of a roll. Our wagering calculator runs the same sums for any offer.
Craps bets and patterns bonus terms often prohibit
Because you can bet both sides of a craps roll, bonus terms commonly bar certain combinations while a bonus is active: betting Pass and Don’t Pass at the same time, Come and Don’t Come together, or other hedged positions. Some terms exclude Odds bets specifically, and some exclude craps altogether. Breaching a listed restriction can lead to bonus winnings being removed.
Is craps named? Look in both the eligible games list and the excluded games list.
Bet-level exclusions: Odds bets, hedged bets, or one-roll proposition bets may be treated differently.
Weighting: the craps percentage, and whether live craps differs from RNG.
Maximum bet: applies to the total placed on a roll, which can add up quickly across several bets. Casumo’s is £5 with an active bonus.
Expiry: each RNG roll takes at least 5 seconds online, so check how long you have.
Maximum win: any cap on winnings from bonus play; 10bet’s, for example, is £1,000.
Payment exclusions: some e-wallet and prepaid deposits don’t qualify for welcome offers.
The Commission’s transparency guidance (opens in a new tab) says significant conditions must be shown with the offer and the full terms no more than a click away. If you can’t find how craps is treated, ask support to confirm in writing.
How to work out whether a craps bonus is worth it
Confirm the casino offers craps at all, and whether it is RNG or live.
Find craps in the bonus terms and note the weighting and any excluded bets.
The online slot stake limits don’t cover craps, but a bonus’s max bet still applies. Background is on our 10x wagering cap and bonus withdrawal rules pages.
Craps bonus myths
Advantages
True: the Odds bet has no house edge, which is why bonus terms often exclude it.
True: a craps bonus’s terms must tell you which bets are prohibited before you play.
True: you can keep your deposit balance whatever happens to the bonus.
Drawbacks
False: dice ‘control’ or betting systems change the result of an online roll.
False: a bonus makes craps cheaper over time. The house edge applies to every staked pound.
False: low-edge bets make clearing a bonus certain. Short-run results vary widely.
Online dice results come from a certified random number generator, or from physical dice in a live studio, and UK technical standards don’t allow games to adjust outcomes to hit a target return. More on this in are casino bonuses rigged?
Keeping craps play within limits
Craps lets you place several bets on each roll, so the total at risk can grow quickly. Set a deposit limit when prompted before your first deposit, use reality checks, and decide a stopping point before you start. Craps, like every casino game, is paid entertainment, and the house edge means losses are likely over time.

Where to play: partner offers for a craps player
We don’t know of a partner offer that fits craps, and we won’t pretend otherwise. All three below are 18+ for new customers, and terms apply:
PlayOJO: a first deposit of at least £10 brings 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p (£8 of spins); winnings are paid in cash with no wagering. Not available in Northern Ireland; designated offer link only. OJOplus money back, which PlayOJO says applies to every game played, is the nearest thing to a reward for non-slot play.
Coral: bet £10 or more on slots (some deposit types excluded) to get 100 free spins at 10p (£10 of spins) on selected games; accept within 48 hours, valid 7 days, no wagering on winnings. Runs 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027.
Ladbrokes: spend £10 or more on slots for 50 free spins a day for 10 days (up to 500 at 10p), claimed before 23:59 each day and valid 7 days, no wagering. PayPal, prepaid cards, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don’t qualify.
Coral’s and Ladbrokes’ qualifying bets must be on slots, so craps rolls won’t trigger them. Full details are on our casino bonuses page and the Coral casino bonus review.
None of these is a craps bonus: Coral and Ladbrokes give free spins after a £10 slots bet and PlayOJO’s 80 spins are on Big Bass Bonanza. 18+, new customers, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use a casino bonus on craps?
Occasionally, but most UK bonuses either exclude craps or count it at a very low percentage. The reason is that some craps bets, especially the Odds bet, carry little or no house edge, so a bonus that counted them fully could be cleared cheaply. Check the eligible and excluded games lists in the bonus terms, and look for bet-level exclusions too. Our page on which games are excluded from bonuses explains the general pattern.
Why is craps excluded from so many bonuses?
Mainly because of the house edge on its best bets. Pass Line keeps about 1.41% on average and the Odds bet keeps nothing, so at full weighting a bonus could be cleared for very little. Craps also lets players bet both sides of a roll, which casinos guard against with prohibited-play terms. Exclusions must be stated clearly before you opt in. See why some games are excluded from bonuses for more of the reasoning.
What is the house edge on craps?
It depends on the bet. Pass Line is about 1.41%, Don’t Pass about 1.36%, Place 6 or 8 about 1.52%, and the Odds bet behind Pass or Don’t Pass has no edge. One-roll bets cost far more: Any Craps is about 11.11% and Any Seven about 16.67%. These are long-run averages and short sessions can differ widely. Check the game’s rules for its exact payouts, and read our house edge entry for how to use these figures.
Can I bet Pass and Don’t Pass with a bonus?
Usually not. Covering both sides of a roll is one of the most commonly prohibited patterns in bonus terms, along with Come and Don’t Come together. UK guidance says such restrictions must be clearly set out in advance, and breaking a listed rule can lead to bonus winnings being removed with an explanation. If you can’t play the way you want under the terms, skip the bonus. Our irregular play entry explains how these clauses work.
Do any of your partners offer a craps bonus?
No. Coral and Ladbrokes give slot free spins after a £10 slots bet, PlayOJO gives 80 spins on Big Bass Bonanza after a £10 first deposit, Casumo offers a 50% match up to £100 with game restrictions, and 10bet’s 100% match up to £25 is wagered on slots. All are 18+ and terms apply. We also don’t claim any partner carries craps, so check the game lobby. The game bonuses hub lists the options for other games.
Is a craps bonus worth it?
Usually not, unless craps is weighted reasonably and you stick to low-edge bets allowed by the terms. A £30 bonus at 10x needs £300 of wagering; at 10% weighting that is £3,000 of Pass Line bets, costing about £42 on average, which is more than the bonus. With higher-edge bets the cost is much greater. Any one session can differ widely from the average. Our is a casino bonus worth it? guide covers the method in full.
Does the £5 stake limit apply to online craps?
No. The UK’s online stake limits of £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds apply only to online slots. Craps has no legal per-roll cap online, though table limits apply. With a bonus active, the bonus’s maximum bet applies to the total placed on a roll, and several bets can quickly add up. Casumo’s max bet is £5. See our online slot stake limits page for the slot rules.
How fast can online craps be played in the UK?
Each game cycle on RNG non-slot casino games, including craps, must last at least 5 seconds since 17 January 2025, and autoplay is banned on all online casino games from the same date. Your net position and time played must also be shown during the session. These changes apply with or without a bonus and are designed to slow play and keep you informed. Our slot game design rules page covers the earlier slot equivalents from 2021.
Can a casino change craps bonus terms after I opt in?
No, not to your disadvantage. Gambling Commission guidance says operators must not vary or withdraw a promotion for a customer who has opted in, except where needed to prevent fraud or similar unlawful behaviour. The terms you accepted are the terms that apply, and material changes to general terms must be notified before they take effect. If you think a change was unfair, complain to the casino first.
