A 25% deposit bonus adds a quarter of your deposit as bonus funds, so £100 in gets £25 extra, usually with wagering that UK rules cap at 10x the bonus. None of our five partner casinos runs a 25% welcome offer: Casumo pays 50% up to £100 and 10bet 100% up to £25. This page shows the maths at every deposit level and explains why percentages and caps in Great Britain have stayed modest.
A 25% bonus on £100 is £25; at 10x wagering that needs £250 of play, costing about £10 on average at a 4% house edge.
No partner offers 25%; Casumo’s 50% up to £100 and 10bet’s 100% up to £25 give more per pound at every level up to their caps (18+, terms apply).
25% bonuses most often appear as reload or later-deposit offers rather than welcome deals.
Since 19 January 2026, wagering is capped at 10x the bonus, which makes very large percentages expensive for operators to offer.
The cap, time limit and max bet matter more than the percentage.

What a 25% deposit bonus is
A 25% deposit bonus is a match offer that credits bonus funds equal to a quarter of the money you pay in, usually up to a fixed maximum. Deposit £40 and you get £10; deposit £200 and you get £50, unless the cap is lower. The bonus is held separately from your cash and normally has to be wagered before any winnings from it can be withdrawn.
Our five partners don’t run a 25% offer. Of the two that use a percentage match, Casumo pays 50% up to £100 and 10bet pays 100% up to £25, so both give more bonus per pound deposited until their caps are reached. Everything below explains how a 25% deal works in general, with honest comparisons to those real offers. Our casino bonuses hub lists every partner offer in one place.

How a 25% deposit bonus works, step by step
Percentage matches follow a familiar routine at UK-licensed casinos.
Pass age and identity checks; since 2019 these must be complete before you can deposit or play.
Opt in to the offer if the terms require it; UK rules say you must not be enrolled automatically without choosing.
Deposit with an eligible method; e-wallets and prepaid cards are often excluded.
Receive 25% of the deposit as bonus funds, up to the cap, shown separately from your cash.
Meet the wagering (no more than 10x the bonus) within the time limit, staying under any maximum bet.
Withdraw winnings once wagering is complete; your own deposit balance is withdrawable at any time.
The table assumes a 25% bonus with no cap below £100, 10x wagering on the bonus and slots with a 4% house edge. The ‘rough average left’ column is the bonus minus the average cost of wagering; real sessions vary widely, and many end before wagering is complete.

The pattern is neat: at 10x wagering and a 4% edge, the wagering costs about 40% of the bonus on average, so a 25% bonus is worth roughly 15% of the deposit. Raising the deposit doesn’t improve that ratio; it just scales everything, including the risk. Try other combinations in the wagering calculator, and see the expected value guide for why averages are only a starting point.
Where 25% deposit bonuses usually appear
A 25% match is unusual as a welcome offer, where casinos compete on bigger headline numbers. It shows up more often in these places:
Reload offers for existing customers, often on a set day. See reload bonus.
Top-ups offered through email or the promotions page to customers who have opted in to marketing. See top-up bonus.
Larger-deposit tiers, where a lower percentage applies above a certain amount.
Since 1 May 2025, casinos need your consent for each product and channel before sending marketing, so you won’t see reload offers by email unless you opted in. Since 19 January 2026, an incentive also can’t grow in value because you have played for longer or more often, which rules out ‘25% today, 50% if you play every day’ style ladders. For what existing-customer deals look like at our partners, check each casino’s promotions page.
Why big percentage bonuses are rare in Great Britain
Searchers often find 25% next to 200%, 300% or even 500% offers and wonder why UK-licensed casinos stay at the lower end. The main reason is maths, sharpened by the 10x wagering cap that took effect on 19 January 2026 under the Commission’s rewards and bonuses code (opens in a new tab).
Wagering is how a casino recovers some of the value of a bonus. Each pound staked returns the house edge to the operator on average. When wagering could be 35x or 50x the bonus, the average amount recovered could exceed the bonus itself. At 10x, it can’t: on a 4% edge, 10x wagering recovers about 40% of the bonus on average, so roughly 60% of every bonus pound is a real cost to the operator.

With that change, a 200% or 500% match with a large cap becomes far more expensive to run, so operators tend to keep percentages and caps modest: 50% up to £100 and 100% up to £25 at our partners are typical of the shape. Other pressures point the same way. Remote gaming duty rose from 21% to 40% (opens in a new tab) on 1 April 2026, raising operators’ costs, and the ban on cross-product offers removed one way of funding casino promotions from sports customers. Our pages on 200% deposit bonuses and the 10x vs 35x comparison go further.
Huge percentages advertised to UK players by sites without a Gambling Commission licence fall outside the cap, the stake limits and GAMSTOP. We never name or link them.
25% vs 50% vs 100% deposit bonus compared
A higher percentage gives more per pound, but only up to its cap. This table sets a hypothetical uncapped-to-£100 25% offer against Casumo’s 50% and 10bet’s 100% at four deposit sizes.

At £400 the 25% offer catches up with Casumo, but only because the deposit is large; the bonus as a share of deposit is still a quarter. Larger bonuses also need more wagering, so a £100 bonus means £1,000 of play. Our pages on the 50% deposit bonus and the 100% deposit bonus work through those two offers in full, and big bonus vs small bonus looks at the trade-off.
Terms that matter more than the 25%
Two 25% bonuses can be worth very different amounts. Check these before depositing:
Cap: a 25% bonus capped at £10 is worth no more than £10, however much you deposit.
Wagering: the multiple (up to 10x) and whether it applies to the bonus only, as UK rules require for the deposit balance.
Time limit: a short window, such as 10bet’s 3 days, packs the same play into less time.
Maximum bet: Casumo’s is £5 with an active bonus; breaking it can void bonus winnings.
Maximum win: 10bet caps bonus winnings at £1,000.
Game and payment restrictions: slots-only wagering and excluded e-wallets are common.
It can be, as a modest extra on a deposit you were planning anyway. At 10x wagering, the average value is about 15% of the deposit, and the lower wagering on a small bonus is easier to finish within a time limit. It doesn’t make gambling cheaper overall, because the wagering is real play at the house edge.
Advantages
Smaller bonus means less wagering: £250 on a £25 bonus
Often available to existing customers as a reload
Simple maths under the 10x cap
Drawbacks
Lower value per pound than 50% or 100% offers up to their caps
Larger deposits are needed for a meaningful bonus
Max-bet and time rules still apply
Rare as a welcome offer at UK-licensed casinos
If you are weighing up whether to take any bonus, our guide on when to say no to a bonus is a useful counterweight.
Judging any percentage bonus in four numbers
Whatever the percentage, you can size up a match bonus quickly with four figures from its terms.
Bonus you’ll actually get: your planned deposit × the percentage, limited by the cap.
Wagering needed: bonus × multiple (no more than 10 at UK-licensed casinos).
Average cost of wagering: wagering × house edge (about 4% on a 96% RTP slot).
Time and bet limits: can you complete that wagering at stakes you are comfortable with before the deadline?
If the answer to the last question is no, the bonus is likely to expire unfinished, and its practical value falls. The guide to how to compare deposit match offers applies these steps to real examples.
Where to find a better match than a 25% deposit bonus
No partner of ours offers a 25% deposit bonus. The two match offers below both pay a higher percentage, and PlayOJO offers wager-free spins instead. All are for new customers aged 18+, and full terms apply.
Casumo: 50% bonus up to £100 on the first deposit, minimum £20, opt-in required. Wager the bonus 10x within 7 days; max £5 per bet while the bonus is active. Game, play and payment restrictions apply. A £100 deposit gets £50, double what a 25% offer would pay. See Casumo casino bonus.
10bet Casino: choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up and make the first deposit within 7 days for a 100% match up to £25. Wager the bonus 10x on slots within 3 days; max bonus winnings £1,000. Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded. See 10bet casino bonus.
PlayOJO: first deposit of £10+ gets 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p (£8 of spins). No wagering: winnings paid in cash. Excludes Northern Ireland; designated offer link only.
Casumo comes closest to a 25% deal in shape, a percentage match with a large cap, and pays twice the percentage up to £200 deposited. 10bet suits smaller deposits, since its 100% applies in full up to £25.
None of these casinos offers a 25% deposit bonus. Casumo’s 50% and 10bet’s 100% match pay a higher percentage up to their caps, and PlayOJO gives 80 wager-free spins instead; 18+, terms apply.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a 25% deposit bonus on £100?
£25 in bonus funds, as long as the cap is £25 or higher. At the maximum 10x wagering allowed in Great Britain since 19 January 2026, you would need to stake £250 before withdrawing winnings from the bonus. On slots with a 4% house edge, that wagering costs about £10 on average, leaving roughly £15, though individual sessions vary widely. Compare that with Casumo’s 50%, which gives £50 on a £100 deposit. See £100 deposit bonus for more.
Which UK casinos offer a 25% deposit bonus?
None of our five partners offers 25%. Casumo pays 50% up to £100 and 10bet 100% up to £25, both with 10x wagering, 18+ and full terms. Other casinos may use 25% for reload or later-deposit offers, which you’ll usually see on their promotions page or by email if you have opted in to marketing. Check the cap and time limit before depositing. Our reload bonus page explains how those offers are typically set up.
Is a 25% bonus better than a 50% bonus?
Not per pound deposited: a 50% bonus pays twice as much on the same deposit until its cap is reached. A 25% bonus only comes out ahead if its cap is much higher and you deposit enough to use it, or if its other terms, such as time limit or max bet, are notably easier. Both are limited to 10x wagering in Great Britain. Read is a 50% bonus good for a fuller answer.
Why don’t UK casinos offer 200% or 500% bonuses?
Mostly because of the 10x wagering cap in force since 19 January 2026. Wagering is how casinos recover some of a bonus’s cost; at 10x and a 4% house edge, they recover only about 40% of the bonus on average. A large percentage with a big cap would therefore be very expensive. Higher remote gaming duty from April 2026 adds to costs. Sites advertising huge percentages are often unlicensed. See our 500% deposit bonus page.
What wagering applies to a 25% deposit bonus?
No more than 10 times the bonus at a UK-licensed casino. On a £10 bonus that is £100 of play; on £50 it is £500. The wagering can’t be applied to your own deposit balance, which you must be able to withdraw at any time under rules that grew out of the CMA’s 2018 undertakings. Time limits and game restrictions decide how hard the wagering is in practice. Our guide to wagering requirements explains each term.
Is a 25% deposit bonus worth it?
It can add a little value if you were already planning the deposit. At 10x wagering and a 4% house edge, it is worth roughly 15% of the deposit on average, so about £6 on a £40 deposit, though any session can finish far above or below that. It never changes the odds or makes gambling cheaper overall. If the bonus is the reason you are depositing, skip it. Our guide is a casino bonus worth it gives a checklist.
Can I get a 25% bonus as an existing customer?
Possibly, depending on the casino. Lower-percentage matches are most common as reload offers for existing customers, sometimes on set days. You’ll only receive them by email or text if you opted in to that marketing channel, as required since 1 May 2025, and operators must stop new bonuses for anyone showing strong signs of harm. Check each partner’s promotions page for current deals. Our page on free spins for existing customers covers the wider picture.
Does a 25% bonus apply to every deposit?
Only if the terms say so. Most percentage bonuses apply to one qualifying deposit, often the first, or to a single deposit on a set day for a reload. Some packages split a welcome offer across several deposits at different percentages. Read which deposit qualifies, the minimum amount, and whether you must opt in before paying. Our qualifying deposit entry explains how casinos define it and why timing matters.
What is the cap on a 25% deposit bonus?
It varies by offer, so it’s the first number to check. The cap is the most bonus you can receive, however much you deposit. A 25% bonus up to £50 reaches its cap at a £200 deposit; anything above that earns nothing extra. For comparison, Casumo’s 50% caps at £100 (reached at £200) and 10bet’s 100% at £25 (reached at £25). See our explanation of the bonus cap for worked examples.
Can I withdraw my deposit if I take a 25% bonus?
Yes. Under UK rules, you must be able to withdraw your deposit balance at any time, even with a bonus active, and wagering requirements must not apply to your own money. Withdrawing may cancel the bonus and any winnings from it, depending on the terms. Cash and bonus balances must be shown separately so you can see which is which. Read can I withdraw my deposit with a bonus active for the detail.
