A 300% deposit bonus triples your deposit in bonus funds, so £10 in gives you £30 of bonus and £40 to play with, usually with a small cap. In Great Britain the wagering on it can’t exceed 10x the bonus since 19 January 2026. None of our partner casinos offers 300%; the real percentage offers are 10bet’s 100% up to £25 and Casumo’s 50% up to £100.
300% means the bonus is three times your deposit: £10 brings £30, the same as a “deposit £10, play with £40” headline.
The cap usually decides the value: “300% up to £30” is worth £30 at most, whatever you deposit.
Under the UK 10x cap, a £30 bonus needs no more than £300 of wagering; before 2026, 35x would have meant £1,050.
No partner offers 300%; 10bet, Casumo and PlayOJO are the honest alternatives (18+, terms apply).

300% deposit bonus: what the number means
A 300% deposit bonus adds three pounds of bonus for every pound you deposit. Put in £10 and you receive £30 of bonus, giving you £40 in total. Advertisers often phrase exactly the same deal as deposit £10, play with £40, which is easier to picture but hides the fact that £10 of the £40 is your own money.
Percentages above 100% sound striking, which is why they turn up in adverts. What they don’t tell you is the bonus cap, the wagering or the expiry, and those three lines decide almost all of the value. A 300% offer is a type of casino match bonus and follows the same rules: 18+ only, and the full terms apply.
Does any UK casino offer a 300% deposit bonus?
Not among the casinos we work with. Our partners’ offers, last checked on 5 October 2026, include two percentage matches: 10bet at 100% up to £25 and Casumo at 50% up to £100. The other three lead with spins. We won’t pretend otherwise to fit a search term.
A 300% rate at a UK-licensed casino would be unusual for the reasons explained below. Where you do see it, check the operator’s Gambling Commission account number on the public register, and confirm the wagering is within the 10x limit. Our guide on how to check a casino licence shows where to look.
The cap is the real headline on a 300% offer
Because the rate is so high, a 300% offer reaches its cap quickly, often on the smallest allowed deposit. After that, every extra pound is ordinary cash with no bonus attached. Divide the cap by three to see the deposit that fills it.

The last column shows what happens if you deposit £50 into each offer. With a £30 cap, the bonus works out at only 60% of that deposit, less than a straightforward 100% match on the same amount. Rate and cap must always be read together; our match percentage entry explains how the two interact.

Read the table from the casino’s side. At 35x or 50x, the house edge on the required staking was expected to recover more than the whole bonus, so a 300% headline cost the operator little. At 10x, the expected recovery is less than half the bonus. Our 10x vs 35x wagering comparison and the bonus rules timeline cover the change in more depth.
These are long-run averages on a slot with 96% RTP. Any one session can end well above or well below them, and many bonuses are used up before the wagering is finished.
Why big percentages and a 10x cap rarely meet
Put simply, the cap made generous percentages expensive. An operator offering 300% at 10x gives away far more expected value per customer than one offering 50% or 100% with a low cap. That is why UK-licensed casinos have tended to keep match rates modest, hold caps low, or move to free spins with a fixed value per spin.
Other costs point the same way. Remote gaming duty paid by operators rose from 21% to 40% of gaming profits on 1 April 2026, and the rules on financial vulnerability checks and marketing consent add more care to every new customer relationship. None of that is a cost to the player, but together these explain why triple-figure percentages have largely disappeared from UK-licensed sites. Our new casino bonuses page tracks how offers changed through 2026.
Reading a 300% offer’s terms line by line
Here is how each typical line in a large match offer should be read. The examples are illustrative, not taken from any one casino.
Confirm the casino is licensed by the Gambling Commission and see who runs it.
Turn the headline into pounds: the bonus your deposit would actually bring, after the cap.
Multiply that bonus by the wagering figure to get the total staking required.
Compare the total staking with the time allowed and with how much you normally play.
Check the max bet, max win and eligible games, plus any excluded payment methods.
Ask whether you would make this deposit with no bonus at all; if the answer is no, leave it.

Only if the deposit is one you were going to make anyway and the terms are clear and within UK limits. Even then, the bonus extends play rather than improving your chances; the house edge applies to every stake, bonus or cash. Our bonus myths guide tackles the most common misunderstandings.

Frequently asked questions
How does a 300% deposit bonus work?
The casino adds bonus funds equal to three times your qualifying deposit, up to a cap. A £10 deposit brings a £30 bonus, giving £40 to play with. The bonus usually sits in a separate balance and becomes withdrawable only after you meet the wagering, which is capped at 10x the bonus at UK-licensed casinos. Expiry, maximum bet and eligible game rules apply while it is active. Our guide to how casino bonuses work explains the general mechanics.
Is a 300% deposit bonus the same as deposit £10 play with £40?
Yes, on a £10 deposit they describe the same thing. A 300% match adds £30 to your £10, giving £40 in total. The “play with” phrasing includes your own deposit, which is why the number looks bigger than the bonus itself. Both versions carry the same wagering, cap and expiry rules, so the terms still need reading. Our deposit £10 play with £40 page explains that headline in detail.
Can I find a 300% deposit bonus at a UK-licensed casino?
It would be rare, and none of our partners offers one. Since the Gambling Commission capped wagering at 10x the bonus from 19 January 2026, very high percentages cost operators far more to run, so most UK-licensed casinos keep match rates at 100% or lower. The percentage deals our partners actually run are 10bet at 100% up to £25 and Casumo at 50% up to £100 (18+, terms apply). See what is the best casino bonus UK for how we compare them.
What is the wagering on a 300% bonus?
At a UK-licensed casino, no more than 10 times the bonus. For a 300% match that equals 30 times your deposit: a £10 deposit with a £30 bonus means up to £300 of wagering. Before 2026, offers like this often carried 35x or more, which would have meant over £1,000 of staking on the same bonus. Check whether the terms apply wagering to the bonus only. Our how to calculate wagering requirements guide shows the method.
Why is the cap so important on a 300% bonus?
Because it is usually reached on a small deposit, after which the rate no longer applies. With a £30 cap, a 300% offer is full at £10; deposit £50 and you still get only £30, which is 60% of that deposit. A 100% match on the same £50 would give more if its cap allowed it. Always turn the headline into the largest bonus in pounds. Our bonus cap entry has more worked examples.
Can I lose my deposit with a 300% bonus?
Yes. Your deposit is staked like any other money and is subject to the house edge, and many bonuses are used up before wagering finishes. A bonus can extend play, but it does not protect your deposit or change the odds of any game. You can withdraw whatever remains of your deposit balance at any time at a UK-licensed casino, though doing so usually cancels the bonus. Our what happens if I lose my bonus answer explains what follows.
Are 300% bonuses on non-UK sites worth the risk?
We don’t think so, and we never list unlicensed sites. A casino without a Gambling Commission licence is outside the 10x wagering cap, slot stake limits, the credit card ban and GAMSTOP, and you can’t take a dispute to UK alternative dispute resolution. Headline percentages there are often paired with heavy wagering and withdrawal limits. If a site ignores GAMSTOP, that alone is a reason to stay away. Our UK vs non-UK casino bonus page sets out the differences.
Which is better: a 300% bonus or no-wagering free spins?
It depends on the terms, but no-wagering spins are far easier to value. With 80 spins at 10p, you know you have £8 of spins and that any winnings are paid as cash. A 300% match gives a bigger bonus but requires up to 30 times your deposit in staking, and a max win or max bet rule may limit the outcome. Our match bonus vs free spins comparison sets the two side by side with examples.
Can a casino change a 300% bonus after I opt in?
Not at a UK-licensed casino, except to prevent fraud or similar unlawful behaviour. Gambling Commission guidance, based on the CMA’s work, says operators must not vary or withdraw a promotion for a customer who has already opted in. Changes to general terms must be notified before they take effect. If you think an offer has been changed unfairly, complain to the casino first and then to its ADR provider. Our can bonus terms change after I opt in answer covers this.
Do 300% bonuses need a promo code?
Some do, but none of our partners’ offers needs one. In the UK most welcome bonuses are claimed by opting in, choosing the offer at sign-up or making the qualifying deposit through the right link. If a code is needed, it should be shown alongside the offer’s significant terms. If a bonus fails to appear after your deposit, contact support before you play. Our do casino bonuses need a code answer explains how codes work today.
