£30 deposit bonus guide

A £30 deposit bonus isn’t a named offer at any casino we cover, but £30 qualifies for both partner match bonuses. 10bet adds £25, its cap, so £5 goes unmatched; Casumo adds £15 at its 50% rate. If you want £30 of bonus money, only Casumo gets there, with a £60 deposit. Here’s how each option compares. 18+, terms apply.

Key takeaways

  • No partner sells a £30 deposit bonus: £30 qualifies for 10bet’s match (£25 bonus) and Casumo’s match (£15 bonus).
  • 10bet’s effective match on £30 is about 83%, because its 100% bonus stops at £25.
  • A £30 bonus is possible only at Casumo, with a £60 first deposit and £300 of wagering within 7 days.
  • Spins offers from PlayOJO, Coral and Ladbrokes need only £10 and carry no wagering.

£30 deposit bonus: what our partners give for £30

Two of the casinos we cover run match bonuses, and a £30 first deposit qualifies for both. They treat it very differently. 10bet matches 100% but only up to £25, so a £30 deposit brings £25 of bonus. Casumo matches 50% up to £100, so the same £30 brings £15. The three spins offers (PlayOJO, Coral and Ladbrokes) need £10 and give the same spins whether you put in £10 or £30.

This page looks at £30 through one lens in particular: how much bonus each pound actually earns, and what the wagering costs. For other amounts and types, browse the casino bonuses hub.

The effective match rate on a £30 deposit bonus

A headline match percentage only holds up to the bonus cap. Beyond the cap, each extra pound earns nothing, so the effective rate falls. Dividing the bonus by the deposit shows the real rate at each size.

At £30, 10bet still gives more bonus than Casumo (£25 against £15), but the gap narrows as the deposit rises and closes at £50, where both give £25. Above £50, Casumo’s offer gives more. Our how to compare deposit match offers guide uses the same method.

Getting a £30 bonus rather than depositing £30

If the phrase £30 deposit bonus means £30 of bonus money to you, the arithmetic narrows the field. 10bet can’t reach it because its match stops at £25. Casumo can: a £60 first deposit at 50% brings exactly £30. That bonus then carries 10x wagering, so £300 of qualifying stakes within 7 days, with no single bet above £5 while the bonus is active.

At 96% RTP, £300 of stakes costs about £12 on average, and at 94% about £18. Those are long-run averages; any one session can lose the whole £90 balance or finish ahead. A £60 deposit is also double the amount this page started with, so only consider it if it already sits within your budget. Our Casumo bonus wagering page explains how Casumo counts progress.

On average figures, 10bet leaves more bonus value after wagering. It also asks for far more play per day. If a three-day window would push you into longer or faster sessions than you’d normally have, the slower Casumo offer, or no bonus at all, may suit you better. The wagering calculator lets you test other RTPs.

What happens to the unmatched £5 at 10bet

At 10bet, £25 of a £30 deposit is matched and £5 isn’t. That £5 is still your money and sits in your deposit balance alongside the rest of your cash. The Gambling Commission’s guidance on restrictions on withdrawing deposits (opens in a new tab) says deposit and bonus balances must be shown separately and that you must be able to withdraw your deposit balance at any time, without wagering it first.

The guidance doesn’t set the order in which deposit and bonus funds are spent, so check 10bet’s terms on which balance is used first. For 10bet withdrawals, its help centre (opens in a new tab) says debit cards and e-wallets take up to 2 business days and bank transfers up to 3. See how bonus funds and cash are used for a fuller explanation.

How £30 compares with the £10 spins offers

Spins offers don’t scale with the deposit. PlayOJO gives 80 spins at 10p for a first deposit of £10 or more; deposit £30 and you still get 80 spins (£8 of value), with the other £20 as cash. Coral’s 100 spins at 10p follow a £10 slots bet, and Ladbrokes’ up to 500 spins at 10p follow £10 spent on slots. All three pay spin winnings without wagering.

So the question at £30 is less about which offer gives the most and more about the format you prefer: a bigger balance with wagering, or a fixed batch of cash-paying spins. Coral and Ladbrokes are run by the same company, LC International Limited, so check the terms before assuming you can claim at both. Match bonus vs free spins goes into the trade-off.

£30 deposit bonus terms to read before you deposit

  • Qualifying method. 10bet excludes Skrill and Neteller; Casumo says payment restrictions apply. Check before choosing an e-wallet or prepaid card.
  • Deposit window. 10bet’s first deposit must be made within 7 days of signing up.
  • Opt-in. Casumo requires an opt-in, and 10bet asks you to choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up.
  • Eligible games. 10bet’s wagering is on slots; Casumo has game restrictions. See which games are excluded from bonuses.
  • Bet size. £5 per bet at Casumo with a bonus active, plus the legal slot limits of £5 (25+) or £2 (18–24).
  • Winnings cap. £1,000 on 10bet bonus winnings.
  • Expiry. 3 days at 10bet, 7 days at Casumo.

The Gambling Commission requires significant terms to be shown with the offer, not buried. Its fair and transparent terms (opens in a new tab) guide explains what you can expect, and our bonus terms explained guide reads a typical set clause by clause.

How to claim a £30 deposit bonus

  1. Compare the effective match and wagering for £30 at each casino using the tables above.
  2. Sign up with your own details and complete age and identity verification.
  3. Set a financial limit when prompted before your first deposit.
  4. At 10bet, choose the casino welcome bonus during sign-up; at Casumo, opt in to the offer.
  5. Deposit £30 by an eligible method (within 7 days of joining, at 10bet).
  6. Check that the bonus balance and wagering target appear correctly.
  7. Play eligible games within the bet limits, and stop whenever you choose; your deposit balance stays withdrawable.

Our how to opt in to a bonus guide covers the opt-in screens in more detail.

UK rules that shape a £30 deposit bonus

Several Gambling Commission rules sit behind the numbers above. The 10x cap on bonus wagering, in force since 19 January 2026, is why neither match offer can ask for more than £250 or £150 here. The same date brought a ban on incentives that mix casino with betting or bingo, while a long-standing clause still stops a casino increasing a reward just because the qualifying spend was reached early.

Since 31 October 2025, you must be prompted to set a financial limit before your first deposit. Since 28 February 2025, operators must run a financial vulnerability check once net deposits pass £150 in a rolling 30 days. And the CMA’s 2018 work on gambling promotions established that you can withdraw your own money during bonus play. Our bonus terms after January 2026 page brings these together.

Where to use £30 for a deposit bonus

Casumo is the only partner that can turn a deposit into a £30 bonus: 18+, new customers, opt in, 50% bonus up to £100 on a first deposit of at least £20, so £60 brings £30; wager the bonus 10x within 7 days; £5 maximum bet with an active bonus; game, play and payment restrictions apply. On a £30 deposit, 10bet gives more: 18+, new UK customers, choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up, first deposit within 7 days, 100% match up to £25, 10x wagering on slots within 3 days, £1,000 maximum bonus winnings, Skrill and Neteller excluded.

PlayOJO is the wager-free alternative: 18+, new UK customers excluding Northern Ireland, £10 minimum first deposit, 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p (£8 of spins), winnings paid as cash, not combinable with other offers. A bonus doesn’t change the long-run cost of play, and losses are likely over time. 18+, terms apply. See the best bonus for £50 comparison for the next size up.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best bonus for a £30 deposit?

It depends on what you value. In bonus money, 10bet gives most: a 100% match capped at £25, against £15 from Casumo’s 50% match. In time to wager, Casumo is more relaxed at 7 days against 3. If you’d rather avoid wagering, PlayOJO’s 80 spins at 10p on a £10 first deposit pay winnings as cash. All are 18+ with payment exclusions. Our best casino bonus UK answer explains how we compare offers.

Why does 10bet only give £25 on a £30 deposit?

Because its welcome bonus is a 100% match up to £25. The cap means any deposit above £25 earns no extra bonus, so at £30 the effective match falls to about 83%. The unmatched £5 stays in your deposit balance as your own money. If you want the full 100% rate, a £25 deposit is the most efficient size. See 10bet bonus funds explained for how the balances work.

How do I get a £30 bonus?

Among our partners, only Casumo can produce a £30 bonus: its 50% match up to £100 gives £30 on a £60 first deposit. You must opt in, wager the bonus 10x (£300) within 7 days and keep bets at £5 or less while it’s active. Game, play and payment restrictions apply. 18+. Only deposit that much if it already fits your budget. The Casumo how to claim page lists the steps.

How much does it cost to wager a £30 deposit bonus?

On average, roughly the wagering multiplied by the house edge. A £25 bonus at 10bet needs £250 of stakes, about £10 at 96% RTP; a £15 bonus at Casumo needs £150, about £6. These are long-run averages and real sessions vary a great deal. The cost of wagering is on top of the normal edge on your own deposit. Our how to calculate wagering requirements guide shows the working.

Is £30 enough for the free spins offers?

Yes. PlayOJO’s offer needs a £10 minimum first deposit, and Coral and Ladbrokes need a £10 slots bet or spend after depositing, so £30 covers all three thresholds with room to spare. The spins don’t increase with a larger deposit: you still get 80, 100 or up to 500 spins at 10p. Each offer excludes some payment methods, so check before depositing. Our deposit £10 get free spins page compares them.

Can I split £30 between a casino bonus and a sports offer?

Not within a single promotion. Since 19 January 2026, Gambling Commission rules ban incentives that combine more than one type of gambling product, such as a bet on football that earns casino spins. Many brands now ask you to pick either a sports or a casino welcome offer at sign-up, as 10bet does. Check each brand’s terms before choosing. Our sports or casino welcome offer page explains the change.

Does a £30 deposit bonus have a maximum bet?

Casumo’s does: £5 per bet while a bonus is active. 10bet’s summary terms set a £1,000 cap on bonus winnings, and you should check its full terms for any bet limit. The law adds slot stake limits of £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24. Exceeding an offer’s max bet can void the bonus. Read why casinos limit bonus bets for the reasoning.

Can I cancel a £30 deposit bonus after claiming it?

Usually yes, by contacting support or using an option in your account, though the method varies. Cancelling normally removes the bonus and any winnings tied to it, while your remaining deposit balance stays yours to play with or withdraw. Some people cancel because the wagering or time limit no longer suits them, which is a reasonable decision. Our answer on whether you can cancel a casino bonus covers the detail.

Are £30 deposit bonuses available to existing customers?

The match offers discussed here are for new customers only, on the first deposit. Existing customers may see reload deals, missions or other promotions, but those vary by casino and change often, so check the promotions page rather than relying on a summary. Since 1 May 2025, you only receive marketing for products and channels you have opted into. The reload bonus page explains how repeat-deposit offers usually work.
