A weekend bonus is a casino offer that runs only from Friday to Sunday, such as a Friday reload, Saturday spins or cashback on weekend losses. The short window is what matters most: wagering has to fit into two or three days, withdrawals counted in business days may not move until Monday, and sport-plus-casino weekend deals have been banned since 19 January 2026.
A weekend bonus squeezes any wagering into 48 to 72 hours, which pushes towards longer sessions.
£300 of wagering at 20p a spin is 1,500 spins, and UK slots must take at least 2.5 seconds per spin.
Withdrawal times quoted in business days don’t count Saturday and Sunday.
No partner publishes a weekend scheme; their one-off welcome offers (18+, terms apply) are the honest alternative.

What a weekend bonus is
Casinos call any promotion limited to Friday, Saturday and Sunday a weekend bonus. The window is the defining feature: the offer opens on Friday (sometimes Friday afternoon), and the reward has to be claimed, and often used, before Sunday ends. It sits among the existing-customer offers in our guide to bonus types.
The rewards themselves are familiar. You might see a percentage match on a Friday deposit, a batch of 10p spins after a Saturday stake target, a prize drop running across the weekend, or a percentage of weekend net losses refunded on Monday. What changes is the pace. A weekly offer gives you seven days to meet its conditions; a weekend offer gives you two or three, and that difference is worth putting into numbers.
Is there a weekend bonus at our partner casinos?
Not as a published scheme. In the offer details checked on 5 October 2026, Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo and 10bet did not advertise a standing weekend bonus for existing customers. Weekend promotions do appear at UK casinos, often sent by email or shown after log-in, so check your account’s promotions page and read each offer on its own terms.
The partner offers on this page are all one-off welcome deals for adults aged 18 or over, with terms applying. They are useful here as a benchmark: each one carries no wagering on spin winnings, so it doesn’t create the time pressure a short-window bonus with wagering does.
Weekend offers tend to be built around the days themselves. The examples below are typical structures, with illustrative figures rather than any casino’s actual terms.

Why a short weekend window changes a bonus’s value
Take an illustrative Friday reload: deposit £60, receive a £30 bonus with 10x wagering, to be completed by Sunday 23:59. That is £300 of wagering. At a 4% house edge it costs about £12 on average, the same as it would over a week. What the weekend changes is the time you need to set aside, because UK online slots must take at least 2.5 seconds per spin and can’t use autoplay or turbo.

Those times are the bare minimum spin clock; with bonus rounds, loading and breaks, real sessions run longer. The average cost stays at £12 whatever the stake, but lower stakes mean far more time at the screen, and higher stakes mean bigger swings, within the £5 per spin limit for over-25s and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, plus any bonus maximum bet. Neither is a way round the house edge. If a short window would have you playing longer than you planned, the sensible choice is to skip the bonus. Our wagering requirements guide shows how to work out any offer this way.
A real short window: 10bet’s three-day wagering
Among our partners, 10bet Casino’s welcome bonus shows how a tight deadline works in practice, even though it isn’t a weekend offer. New UK customers aged 18 or over who choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up and deposit within 7 days get a 100% match up to £25. The bonus must be wagered 10 times on slots within 3 days, and bonus winnings are capped at £1,000. Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded.
A £25 bonus means £250 of wagering inside three days, an average cost of about £10 at a 4% house edge. At 25p a spin that is 1,000 spins, or at least 42 minutes of spin time over the three days. Claimed on a Friday evening, the deadline would fall on Monday evening. The same arithmetic applies to any weekend offer with wagering; our 10bet casino bonus review has the full terms.
How to claim a weekend bonus without rushing it
On Friday, before depositing, read the offer’s significant terms: start and end times, qualifying deposit or stake, wagering, maximum bet, eligible games and expiry.
Work out the wagering in pounds and the minimum time it would take at your usual stake, using the 2.5-second rule.
Decide your weekend budget and session length first, and check your deposit limit matches it.
Opt in if the terms ask you to, then make the qualifying deposit or stake inside the window.
Set a reality check reminder so you can see how long you have been playing.
If the deadline is approaching and wagering is unfinished, let the bonus lapse rather than extend your session. Your remaining deposit balance stays yours to withdraw.
Weekend withdrawals: why business days matter
Many withdrawal timings are quoted in business or banking days, which don’t include Saturday and Sunday. A cash-out requested on Saturday may not start its bank leg until Monday. These are the published figures for our partners; anything not listed here, check the cashier or help centre.

Support hours matter at the weekend too. Casumo lists UK support hours of 7:00 to 23:00, and 10bet’s phone line runs 08:00 to 23:00 daily, while PlayOJO lists live chat and email but no phone number. UK rules that apply to weekend bonus offers
Weekend offers are covered by the Gambling Commission’s rewards and bonuses code, in the version in force since 19 January 2026. Three parts of it bite hardest on weekend promotions:
The mixed-product ban: a single incentive can’t include more than one type of gambling product, so ‘bet on Saturday’s football, get casino spins’ deals are no longer allowed.
The 10x wagering cap: a weekend reload can’t require more than 10 times the bonus in wagering.
No speed-based boosts: a casino can’t increase or alter the reward because you reached the qualifying spend sooner than the whole period the offer runs for, so hitting a target on Friday night earns the same as on Sunday.
Advertising rules matter for weekend offers that exclude particular days. The ASA’s guidance on free bets and bonuses in gambling ads (opens in a new tab) records a 2025 ruling against a £5 voucher ad that didn’t say the voucher was invalid on one major race day; that omission was a significant condition. The same principle applies to a weekend casino promotion that excludes a day or a game: it should be stated clearly up front. Our page on significant conditions in ads explains the rule.

Eligible games: weekend offers are often tied to selected slots.
Payment exclusions: some e-wallets and prepaid methods don’t qualify for some offers.
Cashback definition: what counts as a weekend net loss, and whether it is paid as cash.

Bank holiday and big-event weekends
Long weekends and sporting events bring their own promotions. A bank holiday stretches the window to Monday, and offers may be timed around it; our bank holiday casino bonus page covers how those dates affect expiry and withdrawals. Major racing weekends used to be a common hook for combined sport and casino deals, which the mixed-product ban has ended. A casino-only promotion themed on an event is still allowed if it meets the rest of the code; the Grand National casino bonus page shows what that looks like.
Keeping weekend play within a plan
Weekends often mean more free time, and a short-window bonus can fill it. Decide in advance how much you will spend and for how long, and use the tools UK casinos must offer: deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion. Since 31 October 2025, new customers have been prompted to set a financial limit before their first deposit. If a weekend of play has gone further than you meant, don’t try to win it back on Sunday night.
Help is free and open all weekend. The National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) is run by GamCare and answers 24 hours a day, and GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab) blocks all UK-licensed gambling sites for a period you choose. Our guide to bonuses and gambling harm explains how offers can affect play and when casinos must stop sending them.
Our partner offers as an alternative to a weekend bonus
Because none of our partners publishes a weekend bonus, the fair comparison is with their welcome offers, all 18+ with terms applying. Coral Casino, from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027: deposit (certain types excluded) and bet £10 or more on slots to receive 100 spins at 10p (£10 of spins) on selected games, with 48 hours to accept and 7 days to use them. Spin winnings carry no wagering. Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify. A 7-day spin window covers more than one weekend, which removes the rush.
Ladbrokes Casino gives new customers who deposit and spend £10 or more on slots 50 spins a day for the first 10 days (up to 500, or £50 at face value), at 10p each on selected games, claimed before 23:59 each day and valid 7 days, with no wagering. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don’t qualify. Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited, so check the terms before opening accounts at both.
PlayOJO gives new UK customers, excluding Northern Ireland, 80 spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p (£8 of spins) on a first deposit of at least £10, with winnings paid as cash. Our no wagering bonus page explains why offers without wagering avoid the weekend time squeeze. A bonus never changes the house edge of the games you play.
None of these casinos publishes a weekend bonus; their welcome offers are one-off deals for new customers with no wagering on spin winnings. 18+, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
What is a weekend bonus?
A weekend bonus is a casino promotion available only from Friday to Sunday, such as a reload on a Friday deposit, spins after a Saturday stake, a weekend prize drop or cashback on weekend net losses. Its defining feature is the short window: any wagering or spin use often has to be completed by Sunday night. That can mean long sessions, so work out the wagering in pounds and minutes before you opt in. Our overview of bonus types puts weekend offers alongside the other repeat promotions.
Are weekend casino bonuses worth it?
Weekend bonuses are worth it only if the deposit fits your weekend budget and any wagering fits comfortably into the time you planned to play. The average cost of wagering is the same over a weekend as over a week: £300 of play at a 4% house edge costs about £12. The difference is the time pressure. If the deadline would push you into a longer session, skip it. Our guide to whether a casino bonus is worth it sets out a simple test.
Can I still get a bet-and-casino weekend offer?
No, not from a casino licensed in Great Britain. Since 19 January 2026, the Gambling Commission’s rules ban incentives that include more than one type of gambling product, such as betting and casino. That ended weekend deals like ‘bet £10 on football, get casino spins’. A casino-only weekend offer, or a sports-only one, is still allowed if it meets the rest of the code, including the 10x wagering cap. The mixed-product promotion ban page explains what it covers.
Why does my weekend withdrawal take longer?
Many payment timings are counted in business or banking days, which exclude Saturday and Sunday. Coral and Ladbrokes, for example, say their Fast Bank Transfer takes 2 to 4 business days once approved, and 10bet quotes up to 2 business days for debit cards and e-wallets. A request made on Saturday may therefore move only from Monday. The casino’s own review step may also run on its own schedule. For timings by method, see how long withdrawals take after a bonus has more detail.
Do weekend bonus spins expire on Sunday?
Often, yes: weekend spins commonly expire at the end of Sunday or within 24 to 48 hours of being credited. The exact time should be in the offer’s significant terms. Unused spins are removed when they expire and are not usually reinstated. Check whether the deadline is midnight UK time and whether it falls before the weekend ends. Coral’s welcome spins, by contrast, last 7 days after acceptance. Our free spins expiry page explains how spin deadlines are written and what happens when they pass.
How long does it take to clear a weekend bonus?
It depends on the wagering and your stake, but you can work out a minimum. A £30 bonus at 10x needs £300 of wagering; at 50p a spin that is 600 spins, and UK slots must take at least 2.5 seconds per spin, so at least 25 minutes of spin time. At 20p it is 1,500 spins and over an hour. Real sessions run longer. If that doesn’t fit your plans, don’t opt in. Our wagering calculator lets you test different figures.
Do any partner casinos run weekend promotions?
None of our five partners publishes a standing weekend bonus, based on offer details checked on 5 October 2026. Personalised promotions may appear in your account, so check the promotions page after logging in. Their published welcome offers are one-off: Coral’s 100 spins after a £10 slots bet, Ladbrokes’ 50 spins a day for 10 days after £10 on slots, and PlayOJO’s 80 wager-free spins on a £10 first deposit. All are 18+ and terms apply. See our existing customer offers at Coral for an example.
Can a weekend bonus give more if I qualify on Friday?
No. Under the Gambling Commission’s code in force since 19 January 2026, a casino must not alter or increase a reward because the qualifying activity or spend was reached in a shorter time than the whole period the offer runs for. So meeting a weekend target on Friday night must earn the same reward as meeting it on Sunday. Early qualifiers can’t be given a bigger prize or extra spins for speed. This provision is explained under time-based incentive rules.
What if a weekend offer excludes certain days or games?
Any exclusion that affects whether you get the reward should be stated clearly in the offer, not buried in the full terms. The ASA has ruled against gambling ads that left out day-specific exclusions, treating them as significant conditions, and the Commission’s rules require terms to be clear, transparent and readily accessible. If an exclusion only appears after you have deposited, raise it with the casino and keep screenshots. Our guide on how to complain about a bonus covers the steps, including ADR.
How do I stop weekend bonus emails?
Change your marketing preferences in your account, use the unsubscribe link, or ask support. Since 1 May 2025, UK operators must let you choose marketing separately for each product and for each channel, including email, text and phone, and you can withdraw consent at any time. A time-out or self-exclusion also stops promotions. If weekend offers are prompting play you wouldn’t otherwise choose, turning them off is a sensible first step. Our guide on how to stop bonus emails walks through it.
