A Monday bonus is a casino promotion offered at the start of the week, most often a reload on a Monday deposit, a batch of spins, or cashback on the weekend’s net losses paid on Monday. It is usually small and aimed at existing customers. The key check is whether it rewards play you planned anyway or invites you to win back the weekend.
Monday bonuses are usually reloads, spins or cashback on weekend losses.
Cashback of 10% on a £150 losing weekend returns £15: the weekend still cost £135.
Any wagering is capped at 10x the bonus since 19 January 2026.
No partner publishes a Monday scheme; their one-off welcome offers are the alternative (18+, terms apply).

What a Monday bonus is
Some casinos run promotions tied to a single day of the week, and Monday is a popular choice. The offer is usually available only that day, or is paid on Monday for activity over the weekend. Like other day-of-the-week offers, it belongs to the existing-customer side of our bonus types guide rather than the welcome side.
The phrase covers quite different products. A Monday reload adds a percentage to a deposit made that day. Monday spins arrive after a stake target. Monday cashback refunds part of what you lost over Friday to Sunday. The first two ask you to play on Monday; the third looks back at the weekend. That difference shapes how each one should be judged, and it is the thread running through this page.
Monday bonus offers at our partner casinos
None of Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo or 10bet publishes a standing Monday bonus in the offer details we checked on 5 October 2026. Day-specific promotions for existing customers do exist in the UK market, but they are often personalised and only visible after log-in. Check the promotions page in your own account rather than relying on lists.
The nearest partner feature to a regular rebate is PlayOJO’s OJOplus, which the operator describes as money back on every game played, with no wagering; it runs every day rather than on Monday. Our guide to how OJOplus works covers it. All offers mentioned on this page are for adults aged 18 or over, and terms apply.

Monday cashback on weekend losses, worked through
Take an illustrative offer: 10% of your net losses from Friday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, capped at £50, credited on Monday. Net losses are usually deposits minus withdrawals and the balance left at the end of the period, but the definition varies, so check it in the terms.

Three points follow from the table. Cashback never turns a losing weekend into a winning one. Above the cap, the share returned falls, so it is worth least to those who lose most. And if the £15 arrives as bonus funds with wagering, say 5x, it needs £75 of play before it can be withdrawn, which at a 4% house edge costs about £3 on average, leaving roughly £12 of value. Cash-paid cashback with no wagering avoids that step; see cashback with no wagering.
Monday reload vs Monday cashback: which is better value?
The two can’t be compared on headline percentages alone, because one asks for a new deposit and the other refunds an old loss. The table compares an illustrative 25% reload up to £25 with 10x wagering against 10% cashback up to £50 paid as cash.

Feeling that losses are ‘covered’
Neither is better for everyone. A reload only adds value to a Monday deposit you had already planned. Cashback adds a small rebate to a losing weekend, but it rewards the outcome you would least want. Our comparison of cashback and reload bonuses goes further, and the reload bonus page has more worked figures.
How to claim a Monday bonus
Log in on Monday and check the promotions page or account inbox; Monday offers are often personalised.
Read the significant terms: which hours count as Monday, the qualifying deposit or stake, the reward, wagering, maximum bet and expiry.
For cashback, check how net losses are calculated and when the payment lands.
Opt in if required; the Gambling Commission says promotions should need your opt-in rather than enrol you automatically.
Check your payment method qualifies, as some e-wallets and prepaid methods are excluded from some offers.
Make the qualifying deposit or stake within Monday’s window, then use the reward before it expires.
The Gambling Commission’s consumer guide to free offers and bonuses (opens in a new tab) says companies should let you walk away at any time, keep what is left of your deposit and make clear whether you are playing with your own money or bonus funds.
Monday offers and chasing weekend losses
The timing of a Monday offer deserves a moment’s thought. After a losing weekend, a reload that ‘tops up’ a fresh deposit, or cashback that seems to soften the damage, can make it feel natural to try to win the money back. That is chasing losses, and it is one of the clearest routes from planned play to harmful play. The house edge works the same on Monday as on Saturday, and a bonus doesn’t change the long-run cost of gambling.
A simple rule helps: decide whether you would deposit this Monday if no offer existed. If the answer is no, the offer is the reason, and it is better skipped. If you are thinking about the weekend’s losses when you open the app, close it. Our page on when to say no to a bonus lists other warning signs, and bonuses and gambling harm explains how offers can affect behaviour.
Free, confidential help is available at any time from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, run by GamCare, which also offers live chat support (opens in a new tab). GAMSTOP blocks UK-licensed gambling sites, and most UK banks offer a gambling block on debit cards.
UK rules behind Monday promotions in 2026
Monday offers follow the same rewards and bonuses code as any other incentive. Since 19 January 2026 that means clear, fair and readily accessible terms; wagering of no more than 10 times the bonus (see the 10x wagering cap); no incentive that mixes casino with betting, bingo or lottery; and no increase in the reward because you hit the qualifying spend faster than the full offer period.
Two other rules matter especially for start-of-week offers. Under the Commission’s customer interaction code, operators must watch for signs of harm, including spend and spending patterns, and must stop marketing and new bonus take-up for customers showing strong indicators of harm, a requirement in force since 12 February 2023. A run of weekend losses followed by Monday deposits is the kind of pattern those checks are designed to notice. And since 1 May 2025, casinos need your opt-in for each product and channel before sending marketing; you can withdraw it at any time, as the Commission explains in its guide on stopping gambling marketing texts and emails (opens in a new tab). See bonuses and harm indicators and the marketing consent rules for more.
Monday bonus terms worth checking
Hours that count as Monday, usually 00:00 to 23:59 UK time.
For cashback: the counting period, the net loss definition, the cap, the payment day and whether it is cash or bonus funds.
For reloads: minimum deposit, match percentage, bonus cap and wagering multiple.
For spins: spin value, eligible games, expiry and whether winnings are cash.
Maximum bet while a bonus is active, on top of the legal £5 (25+) or £2 (18 to 24) slot stake limit.
Game contribution: table and live games may count less towards wagering; see game weighting.

Our casino bonus checklist turns these into a quick routine you can run in a couple of minutes.
Monday bonus vs weekend and weekly offers
A Monday offer is the narrowest of the time-based promotions: one day, often with a short expiry. A weekend bonus spans Friday to Sunday and tends to bring a wagering deadline that pushes longer sessions. A weekly bonus spreads the same kind of reward over seven days, which gives more room to play at your own pace. Across all three, the value comes down to the same few numbers: the deposit or stake needed, the reward’s face value, the wagering in pounds and the expiry.
How our partner offers compare with a Monday bonus
With no partner Monday scheme to point to, the honest comparison is with their welcome offers, for new customers aged 18 or over, terms applying. Coral Casino (1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027): deposit (certain types excluded) and bet £10 or more on slots for 100 spins at 10p, or £10 of spins, on selected games. You have 48 hours to accept and 7 days to use them, with no wagering on spin winnings. Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify. See our Coral casino bonus review.
Ladbrokes Casino: deposit and spend £10 or more on slots for 50 spins a day over the first 10 days (up to 500, £50 at face value), 10p each on selected games, claimed before 23:59 each day, valid 7 days, no wagering. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don’t qualify. Coral and Ladbrokes share an operator, LC International Limited, so check the terms about holding accounts at both.
PlayOJO: new UK customers, excluding Northern Ireland, get 80 spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p (£8 of spins) on a first deposit of £10 or more, with winnings paid in cash and no wagering; the offer can’t be combined with others. None of these is a Monday offer, and none changes the house edge of the games you play.
None of these casinos publishes a Monday bonus; they are one-off welcome offers for new customers, shown here as the closest real alternative. 18+, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Monday bonus?
A Monday bonus is a casino promotion tied to the start of the week, usually a reload on a Monday deposit, spins after a Monday stake target, or cashback on the weekend’s net losses paid on Monday. It is aimed at existing customers and is often personalised. Read the significant terms each time, because day-specific offers can change from week to week. Any wagering is capped at 10x the bonus since 19 January 2026. Our overview of bonus types shows how it fits with other repeat offers.
Is Monday cashback worth having?
Monday cashback is a small rebate, not a refund: 10% back on a £150 losing weekend is £15, so the weekend still cost £135. It is worth most when paid as cash with no wagering, and least when it arrives as bonus funds with a short expiry. It pays nothing after a winning weekend and, above any cap, returns a smaller share to heavier losers. Never deposit more on Friday because cashback is coming on Monday. Our page on whether cashback bonuses are worth it explains more.
Do any of your partner casinos offer a Monday bonus?
None of our five partners publishes a Monday bonus, based on the offer details we checked on 5 October 2026. Personalised offers may appear after you log in, so check each casino’s promotions page. Their published welcome offers are one-off: Coral’s 100 spins after a £10 slots bet, Ladbrokes’ 50 spins a day for 10 days, and PlayOJO’s 80 wager-free spins on a £10 first deposit. All are for adults aged 18 or over and terms apply. Compare them on our casino bonuses page.
Does a Monday reload bonus have wagering?
Usually yes, and since 19 January 2026 it can’t exceed 10 times the bonus. So a £25 Monday reload could require up to £250 of wagering, which costs about £10 on average at a 4% house edge. Some reloads also have a short expiry, sometimes ending the same week, and a maximum bet while the bonus is active. You can withdraw your own deposit balance at any time, even with the bonus still active. The wagering requirements guide shows how to calculate the play needed.
Is it a bad idea to use a Monday bonus after a losing weekend?
It can be, because a Monday offer arriving after losses makes it easy to slip into chasing them. The house edge applies on Monday just as it did at the weekend, and a bonus doesn’t change the long-run cost of play. Ask whether you would deposit today with no offer; if not, skip it. If you notice you are trying to win back losses, take a break, set a lower deposit limit or use a time-out. The guide to bonuses and gambling harm covers the warning signs.
When is Monday cashback paid?
It is paid when the terms say, often on Monday morning or during Monday, for losses counted over the previous Friday to Sunday or the previous week. Some casinos credit it automatically; others ask you to claim it within a set period, after which it lapses. Check whether it lands in your cash balance or your bonus balance, because bonus-funds cashback may carry wagering and an expiry. If it doesn’t arrive on time, contact support with the offer terms to hand. See how cashback is paid for the usual methods.
Can a casino send me Monday offers without my consent?
No. Since 1 May 2025, UK-licensed casinos must get your opt-in for marketing for each product, such as casino or betting, and for each channel, such as email, text or phone, and opting out is the default at registration. Offers you see on the website after logging in are not direct marketing, but emails and texts are. You can change your preferences or withdraw consent at any time. The steps are set out in how do I stop bonus offers.
Can Monday spins be used on any slot?
Usually not: day-specific spins are normally limited to one or a few selected games, listed in the offer terms. The spin value is fixed, often 10p, and winnings may be paid as cash or as bonus funds with wagering. Spins played on the wrong game won’t count, and unused spins expire. Check the game list on the promotion page before you opt in. If you want to understand how operators choose spin games, read our page on which slots your spins are on.
What counts as a net loss for Monday cashback?
It is whatever the offer terms define, which is why that line matters. A common definition is total deposits minus withdrawals and minus the balance left at the end of the period, but some offers count only losses on certain games, exclude bonus play, or ignore deposits made outside the window. Different definitions can produce very different cashback on the same weekend. If the wording is unclear, ask support in writing before you play. The cashback maths guide works through several definitions with numbers.
Can a Monday bonus be changed after I opt in?
Not normally. The Gambling Commission’s guidance says operators must not use terms letting them vary or withdraw a promotion for someone who has already opted in, except to prevent fraud or similar unlawful behaviour. Next Monday’s offer can be different, because it is a new promotion, but the one you accepted should run on its published terms. Save a screenshot when you opt in. If a casino changes a live offer, you can complain and then escalate to ADR. See whether bonus terms can change after opting in.
