To know which slots your free spins are on, check the offer’s terms or promotion page first: UK rules expect eligible games to be shown clearly with the offer. Once the spins are credited, the bonus or rewards area of your account usually names the game, the spin value and the deadline. Opening that slot shows a spin counter.
The offer terms or promotion page must name the eligible games or say exactly where the list is.
After crediting, the bonus or rewards area normally shows the game, spin value and expiry.
PlayOJO’s welcome spins are on Big Bass Bonanza; Coral and Ladbrokes list their selected games on the promotion page.
Opening a slot that isn’t on the list uses your cash balance, not the spins.

How do I know which slots my free spins are on? Where to look
Free spins are almost always tied to one slot or a short list of selected games. The casino tells you which, but the information sits in different places before and after you claim. Work through them in this order and you will nearly always find the answer within a minute.

PlayOJO’s help page (opens in a new tab), for example, tells customers to check the Rewards section to see which game the spins are for, how much each spin is worth and when they run out. It also says free spins expire after 24 hours, so look as soon as they land.
Which slots our partners’ free spins are on
Only one of the three partner welcome offers names its game in the headline terms. The other two point to a list of selected games that the casino can update between promotions, which is why we don’t print a list here that might go out of date.
Step by step: finding the slot your free spins are on
Before depositing, open the offer’s full terms and find the line on eligible or selected games.
If the terms point to a list, open the promotion page and note the games and the spin value.
Make the qualifying deposit or bet; check separately which games count towards any qualifying bet.
When the spins are credited, open your bonus, offers or rewards area and read the game name and deadline.
Launch the slot from that area rather than from the lobby search, so the spins load directly.
Check the game shows a spin counter and the fixed offer stake before your first spin.
If nothing appears, take a screenshot and ask support which game the spins were credited to.
The games that count for a qualifying bet and the games the spins are played on can be different lists. Coral’s offer, for example, needs a £10 bet on slots before spins are credited on selected games; read both parts. Our guide to the qualifying bet explains the difference.
Why free spins are tied to particular slots
A casino’s cost for a batch of spins depends on the game. Fixing the slot lets it set a known value per spin, such as 10p, on a game with a known RTP and paytable, and often reflects arrangements with the game studio, which is why some offers carry a game provider restriction. Featured games also tend to be popular or newly released titles the casino wants to promote.
Eligible games are a significant term, and UK rules require significant terms to be easy to find. The Gambling Commission’s transparency guidance (opens in a new tab) says key conditions must be clear, prominent and shown with the headline offer on landing and sign-up pages, with the full terms available before sign-up and, once play starts, within a single click from the bonus tab. Putting them only in the general terms and conditions is not enough.
Two more protections help. Terms on which gambling is offered must be fair and transparent, so a vague phrase that leaves you guessing can be challenged; and the Commission’s guidance says operators must not change a promotion for someone who has already opted in, except to prevent fraud or similar unlawful behaviour. Our pages on significant terms, clear bonus terms and whether bonus terms can change after you opt in cover each point.
Reading the eligible games line in free spins terms
The clause is usually short, but each phrase matters. Here is what common wording means in practice:
Common eligible games wording and what it means
Wording you might see
What it means for you
‘Valid on [game name] only’
One slot; the spins won’t load anywhere else
‘Selected games’ or ‘eligible games’
A list kept on the promotion page; read it before you deposit
‘Spins credited at 10p per spin’
Each spin is worth 10p and the stake can’t be changed
‘Spins must be used within 7 days’
The deadline applies whichever eligible slot you use
‘Excluded games apply’
Some games in the lobby won’t count or won’t load the spins
If the wording leaves the game unclear, ask support before you deposit and keep the answer. Our clause-by-clause guide to bonus terms covers the rest of a typical offer.
What happens if you play the wrong slot
If you open a slot that isn’t on the list, the game uses your cash balance at whatever stake you choose. The free spins stay unused in your account, and the money spent on the wrong slot is treated as ordinary play. Casinos aren’t generally obliged to refund it, though it is worth asking support if the eligible games weren’t shown clearly.
Watch for this especially on daily offers. With Ladbrokes’ 50 spins a day, opening a different slot by habit can quietly use real money while that day’s spins wait. If spins don’t appear on the game you expected, read why free spins may not be showing.
When your free spins can be used on several slots
If an offer lists more than one game, each slot’s help screen shows its RTP before you play, as UK rules under RTS 3 (opens in a new tab) require. Comparing them is a fair way to choose among eligible games, though the differences in average value are small and luck dominates a batch of 100 spins. The figures below are for illustration only and are not a list of any partner’s selected games.
Average return on 100 spins at 10p, by published RTP
Each partner offer is 18+ and terms apply. PlayOJO is the clearest on games: new UK customers outside Northern Ireland get 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each with a first deposit of £10 or more, with no wagering and winnings paid in cash; it can’t be combined with other offers and must be claimed through the designated link. Coral gives 100 free spins at 10p on selected games after a deposit and a £10 slots bet, with 48 hours to accept, 7 days to use and no wagering on winnings; Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify.
Ladbrokes gives 50 free spins a day for 10 days (up to 500) at 10p on selected games after a deposit and £10 of slots play, claimed before 23:59 daily, valid 7 days and wager-free; prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don’t qualify. For Coral and Ladbrokes, check the promotion page for the current list before you deposit. The qualifying £10 is real money and the house edge applies to it. Browse more on the questions hub.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find the eligible games for my free spins?
Look in the offer’s terms first, then on the promotion page, which usually holds the current list. Once the spins are credited, the bonus or rewards area of your account normally names the game, spin value and expiry. UK guidance says these key terms must be available before sign-up and within a click once play starts. If you still can’t find it, ask support in writing. The selected games glossary entry explains the term.
Which slot are PlayOJO’s welcome free spins on?
PlayOJO’s welcome offer gives 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each, for new UK customers outside Northern Ireland who make a first deposit of at least £10. There is no wagering and winnings are paid in cash; 18+ and terms apply. Big Bass Bonanza’s published figures are a 96.71% RTP, high volatility and a 2,100x maximum win. See PlayOJO eligible games for more on the offer.
Which games are Coral’s 100 free spins on?
Coral’s offer says the 100 free spins are on selected games, and the promotion page lists them. We don’t name the games because the list can change between promotions, so check it before you deposit. The spins are 10p each, must be accepted within 48 hours and are valid for 7 days, with no wagering on winnings; 18+ and terms apply. The Coral eligible games page explains how to read the list.
Can I use my free spins on any slot I like?
Usually not; free spins only work on the games the offer names. If you open a different slot, it uses your cash balance instead. Some offers list several games, in which case you can choose among those. Casinos fix the games so they know the cost of each spin, and the restriction must be shown clearly before you sign up. Read can I choose my free spins slot for the reasons.
Why can’t I see a free spins counter in the game?
Usually because you have opened a slot the spins aren’t valid on, or because the spins haven’t been credited or accepted yet. Open the bonus or rewards area, check the game name and launch it from there. Some offers need you to accept spins first; Coral’s must be accepted within 48 hours. Expired spins won’t show either. Our answer on why free spins may not be showing lists every common cause.
Can a casino change the eligible slots after I claim?
Not for an offer you have already opted into, except to prevent fraud or similar unlawful behaviour. The Gambling Commission’s guidance says operators must not use terms that let them vary or withdraw a promotion once a customer has opted in. A casino can update its list for future promotions. If the game changes after you have claimed, raise it with support and keep screenshots. See can bonus terms change after I opt in.
Do the qualifying bet and the free spins have to be on the same slot?
Not necessarily, as they are often two separate conditions. Coral’s offer, for example, needs a £10 bet on slots before 100 spins are credited on selected games, and the two lists may differ. Read the terms for which games count towards the qualifying bet as well as where the spins can be used. Both are significant terms that should be clear before you deposit. See qualifying bet for how it works.
What if the eligible games aren’t listed anywhere?
Ask the casino before you deposit, and think twice if it can’t tell you. UK rules treat eligibility limits as significant terms that must be shown clearly with the offer, not hidden. A written answer from support protects you if there is a dispute later. If spins are credited on a game you weren’t told about and that causes a loss, you can complain. Our page on significant terms sets out what must be shown.
Does the slot my free spins are on affect what they are worth?
A little, through the slot’s RTP, but the stake matters far more. At 10p a spin, 100 spins are £10 of spins whichever game they are on; a 96.71% RTP returns about £9.67 on average and a 95% RTP about £9.50. Volatility changes how lumpy the results are rather than the average. A single batch can land well above or below these figures. Our guide to free spins value shows the full calculation.
