Coral bonus wagering requirements are simple for the current welcome offer: the 100 free spins you get after a £10 slots bet carry no wagering, so whatever they win is paid as cash. The only play-through is the £10 qualifying bet itself. Below, the terms, the maths and the catches are set out line by line. 18+, terms apply.
Coral's welcome spins have no wagering: spin winnings go straight to your cash balance.
The £10 slots bet is a qualifying bet, not a wagering requirement, and it is real money at risk.
100 spins × 10p = £10 of spins; at a 96% RTP that averages about £9.60 back, with wide swings either way.
Since 19 January 2026 no UK casino bonus can ask for more than 10x wagering on the bonus.
PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, Neteller, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don't qualify for the offer.

Coral bonus wagering requirements: the short answer
The welcome offer on the Coral casino bonus page works like this: you're 18 or over and new to Coral, you deposit with a qualifying method, you stake at least £10 on slots, and Coral gives you 100 free spins worth 10p each. The offer terms say there is no wagering on free spin winnings. If the spins return £6.40, £6.40 lands in your withdrawable balance.
That makes Coral's wagering position unusual among big UK brands that also run sportsbooks. There's no bonus balance to play through, no contribution table to study and no conversion step. The one thing that resembles wagering is the £10 slots bet you must place first, and that's a qualifying bet, not a multiplier on a bonus. Our wagering requirements guide explains the difference in general terms; this page applies it to Coral.
Offer checked on 5 October 2026. It runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027. Coral can change promotions, so read the live terms before you deposit.
The £10 qualifying bet is not a wagering requirement
People searching for Coral wagering terms often mix up two different conditions. A wagering requirement (also called playthrough) says you must bet a multiple of a bonus before the bonus or its winnings become cash. A qualifying bet says you must stake a set amount of your own money before the reward is released.

No: spin winnings carry no wagering
In practice the £10 bet is ordinary gambling. On a slot with a 96% return to player, £10 of stakes returns about £9.60 on average, so the expected cost of qualifying is roughly 40p. That's a long-run average: in any one session you might lose the whole £10 or finish ahead. Bonuses don't change a game's odds, and the house edge applies to every spin of the qualifying bet.
What Coral's no wagering free spins are worth
Free spin value is spins multiplied by stake: 100 × 10p = £10. Because Coral attaches no wagering to the winnings, the average cash value is close to that £10 multiplied by the slot's RTP. Coral lists its own selected games for the spins, and their RTPs vary, so the table uses three illustrative RTPs. Check the game's help screen for the real figure.

Those averages hide a wide spread. Plenty of 100-spin runs on a volatile slot return £2 or £3; occasionally one feature pays far more. Our free spins value guide shows why the median outcome is usually below the mean. The useful point for wagering is that whatever the spins pay, you don't have to risk it again before you can withdraw your free spins winnings.
How the same spins would look with 10x wagering
Suppose an imaginary rival paid the same 100 spins but added 10x wagering on the winnings. If the spins returned £9.60, you'd need to wager £96. At a 4% house edge that costs about £3.84 on average, cutting the expected cash to around £5.76, and you'd also face a deadline and a maximum stake while playing. Coral's version skips that step entirely, which is why no wagering free spins are usually worth more than the same number of wagered spins.
Coral wagering vs other UK welcome offers
The fairest test of Coral's terms is to set them against the other offers we list, all checked on 5 October 2026. Two are no wagering spin offers; two are deposit matches with 10x wagering on the bonus.

The deposit matches give you more to play with on paper, but the wagering eats into it. Casumo's maximum £100 bonus needs £1,000 of wagering inside 7 days; our Casumo wagering page works through it. 10bet's £25 bonus needs £250 in 3 days, explained on the 10bet wagering page. The Ladbrokes wagering page covers Coral's sister brand, which uses the same no wagering approach spread over ten days. For a side-by-side view of both styles, see no wagering vs low wagering.
The UK 10x wagering cap and Coral since 19 January 2026
From 19 January 2026, the Gambling Commission's social responsibility code 5.1.1 says bonus wagering can't require a customer to play through bonus funds more than 10 times. The same change banned promotions that mix gambling products, which matters for a brand like Coral that runs a sportsbook alongside its casino. The Commission set out both changes in its announcement that gambling promotions are to be safer and simpler (opens in a new tab), and the wording sits in the LCCP social responsibility code 5.1.1 (opens in a new tab).
Wagering cap: any Coral casino bonus that does carry wagering must stay at or below 10x the bonus. See our page on the UK 10x wagering cap.
Mixed products: a casino reward for a football bet, or the reverse, is no longer allowed. The welcome spins only need a slots bet, so they sit inside one product. More on the mixed-product promotion ban.
Qualifying speed: a promotion can't be altered or increased because you hit the qualifying spend sooner than the full offer period. Our page on time-based incentive rules has the detail.
Clear terms: terms must be clear, fair and readily available, so the no wagering statement should be easy to find on the promotion page.
Coral's spins were already free of wagering, so the cap changes nothing for this offer. It does set a ceiling for any future reload or existing-customer deal with a bonus balance.
Conditions that still apply when there's no wagering
No wagering doesn't mean no conditions. The Coral offer terms include several limits that can cost you the spins if you miss them:
Payment method: Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don't qualify. Our Coral payment methods page goes through each one.
Slots only: the £10 qualifying bet must be on slots. Bets on table games, live casino or sports don't count.
48 hours to accept: once credited, the spins must be accepted within 48 hours.
7 days to use: accepted spins last 7 days; unused spins then expire. Our Coral bonus expiry page covers the clock in detail.
Selected games: the spins only work on the games the offer lists. These are Coral's selected games; check the promotion page for the current list.
New players only: existing Coral customers can't claim it, and because Coral and Ladbrokes share an operator, holding an account with one may affect the other. Our answer to whether Coral and Ladbrokes share accounts explains what to check.
How to check the wagering on any Coral promotion
Coral runs other promotions besides the welcome spins, and their terms aren't all the same. Use this routine before opting into anything:
Open the promotion's full terms, not just the banner. Under UK rules the significant terms should be shown up front.
Look for the words 'wagering', 'playthrough' or 'x the bonus'. If none appear and the terms say winnings are paid as cash, there is no wagering.
If wagering exists, confirm it's 10x or lower and note whether it applies to the bonus, the winnings or both.
Find the time limit, the maximum stake and any list of games that count, since these shape how practical the requirement is.
Check the payment exclusions before depositing; a non-qualifying method can void the offer before play starts.
Put a number on it: wagering × house edge gives the average cost. Our wagering calculator does the sum for you.
Wagering on Coral offers for existing customers
The welcome spins are for new players only. After that, Coral's promotions page and app carry rotating deals, and each sets its own terms. Coral's casino app listing mentions Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber, Coral Coins promotions and free-to-play games with real-money prizes; we can't confirm the current terms of each, so read them as they appear. Our page on Coral offers for existing customers collects what's known.
If a later offer does carry wagering, the 10x cap applies and so does game weighting: many casinos count slots at 100% and table games at less, or not at all. Our game weighting guide explains how contribution rates change the true amount you'd need to stake.

Stake limits and keeping the qualifying bet in proportion
Coral's spins are fixed at 10p, so the UK online slot stake limits don't bite on the spins themselves. They do apply to your £10 qualifying bet: £5 a spin at most if you're 25 or over (since 9 April 2025) and £2 if you're 18 to 24 (since 21 May 2025). A £10 qualifying total could be ten £1 spins, fifty 20p spins, or anything in between; the average cost is the same, but smaller stakes give a longer session.
Treat the £10 as the price of entertainment rather than a step towards profit, because over time losses are the likely outcome. Coral has to prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit, and deposit limits, time-outs and reality checks are all worth using. Our guide on how to set deposit limits walks through them, and the safer gambling and bonuses page lists free support, including the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
Why Coral's withdrawal and bonus terms look the way they do
Coral is run by LC International Limited, part of Entain, which also runs Ladbrokes. In February 2018, Ladbrokes was among the first firms to give the Competition and Markets Authority undertakings on bonus terms: clearer, fairer conditions, and the right to withdraw your own deposited money during bonus play. The CMA's online gambling case page (opens in a new tab) sets out those commitments. With no bonus balance in Coral's welcome offer, there's nothing to block a withdrawal of your cash at any point.

Coral's no wagering spins and the closest alternative
Coral's welcome offer suits anyone who wants wagering-free spins from one modest slots bet. It's for new players aged 18+, terms apply: deposit with a qualifying method, stake £10 or more on slots, then accept 100 free spins at 10p each within 48 hours and use them within 7 days. Winnings carry no wagering. The full walkthrough is on the Coral free spins page.
Ladbrokes comes closest: also 18+ and new customers only, a £10 slots spend releases 50 spins a day for 10 days, up to 500 at 10p each, with no wagering, claimed by 23:59 each day and valid 7 days. Its payment exclusions are similar. Because both brands share an operator, check the terms before signing up to both.
Coral's welcome spins carry no wagering; Ladbrokes, run by the same company, also pays spin winnings without wagering. 18+, new customers, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Coral casino bonus have wagering requirements?
No, not on the current welcome spins. The offer terms say free spin winnings carry no wagering, so anything the 100 spins return is added to your cash balance and can be withdrawn. The only condition resembling wagering is the £10 you must bet on slots first, which is your own money and works like any other bet. Other Coral promotions may have different terms, and any wagering they include can't exceed 10x the bonus under rules in force since 19 January 2026. See the UK 10x wagering cap for details.
Is the £10 bet the same as wagering?
No. The £10 is a qualifying bet that triggers the spins, while wagering is a requirement to replay a bonus before it becomes cash. You place the £10 from your own deposit on slots, its winnings are already yours, and once it settles the spins can be credited. At a 96% RTP the average cost of £10 of slot stakes is about 40p, though any single session can lose the full £10. Our glossary entry on the qualifying bet explains the term in more depth.
What can 100 Coral free spins win on average?
About £9.60, if the selected slot has a 96% RTP. The spins are worth £10 in total (100 × 10p), and RTP is a long-run average, so individual results vary a lot: many runs return a few pounds, a few return much more. Because there's no wagering, the amount the spins pay is the amount you keep. Coral's spins work only on its listed selected games, so check each game's help screen for its RTP. Our free spins maths guide shows how to work out the figures for any offer.
Can I withdraw Coral free spins winnings straight away?
Yes, once they're in your cash balance, because there's no wagering to complete first. You'll still need a verified account, and withdrawals normally go back to the method you deposited with. Coral's help centre says withdrawals pass an internal review and then take from instantly to five banking days depending on the method, with no withdrawal fees. Our Coral withdrawal time page has the method-by-method figures and the minimums that Coral's help centre publishes.
Why is PayPal excluded if there is no wagering?
Payment exclusions are a separate condition from wagering. Coral's offer terms list Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards as non-qualifying, so a deposit with any of them won't trigger the spins even though there's no play-through. Casinos commonly exclude e-wallets and prepaid methods from welcome offers to limit repeat claims. A debit card is the usual qualifying route, but check the terms for which cards count. Our article on why PayPal deposits are excluded explains the reasoning.
Do table games count towards Coral's £10 qualifying bet?
No. The offer terms specify a bet of £10 or more on slots, so roulette, blackjack, live casino and sports bets don't count towards it. Slots stakes made with the qualifying deposit are what matter. If you're unsure whether a particular game counts as a slot, the promotion page or Coral's help centre is the place to check before you play. For how casinos treat different game types across all kinds of offers, see our guide to which games are excluded from bonuses.
How long do I have to use the Coral spins?
You have 48 hours to accept the spins once they're credited, and then 7 days to use them. Unused spins expire after that, and expired spins can't normally be restored. The offer itself runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027, so the qualifying bet must be placed in that window. Because there's no wagering, there's no second deadline for playing through winnings. Our page on Coral bonus expiry sets out every time limit side by side.
Is no wagering better than 10x wagering?
For the same headline value, yes, because nothing is lost to the house edge while clearing it. A £10 bonus at 10x needs £100 of wagering, which at a 4% house edge costs about £4 on average and comes with a deadline and a maximum stake. A deposit match can still give more total play, so it depends what you want from the offer. Neither type makes gambling profitable over time. Our no wagering vs low wagering comparison weighs both.
Can existing Coral customers get no wagering spins?
Not through the welcome offer, which is for new players only. Existing customers may see other promotions on Coral's promotions page or in the app, and each has its own terms: some may be wager-free, others may carry wagering of up to 10x. Coral's app listing mentions Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins promotions, but read the live terms before opting in. You can also turn marketing off at any time. See Coral offers for existing customers for more.
Does the maximum £5 stake rule affect Coral's spins?
Not the spins, which are fixed at 10p each. The UK stake limit of £5 a spin for over-25s and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds applies to the online slots you play with your own money, including the £10 qualifying bet. There's no separate maximum-bet clause to worry about while clearing wagering, because there's no wagering. Deposit bonuses with a balance to clear often add their own cap on top, such as Casumo's £5. See casino bonus max bet rules for how they interact.
