The 10bet bonus wagering requirements ask you to play through the bonus 10 times on slots within 3 days of getting it. On a £25 bonus that means £250 of slot bets. Below we work out what that costs on average, how long it takes at different stakes and what happens if the clock runs out. 18+, terms apply.
Wagering is 10x the bonus only, on slots, and must be finished within 3 days.
The full £25 bonus needs £250 of slot bets; a £10 bonus needs £100.
At a 96% RTP the average cost of £250 of wagering is about £10, though any session can swing well above or below that.
Bonus winnings are capped at £1,000, and Skrill and Neteller deposits don’t qualify.
10x is the most any UK casino may ask for since 19 January 2026.

10bet bonus wagering requirements in plain English
10bet’s casino welcome offer for new UK customers aged 18+ is a 100% match on the first deposit, up to £25. The offer terms set the wagering at 10 times the bonus amount, played on slots, within 3 days. Until that is done, the bonus and anything won with it stay locked as bonus balance rather than cash you can withdraw.
Three details shape everything else on this page. First, the multiplier applies to the bonus, not to the deposit plus bonus, so a £20 bonus needs £200 of bets rather than £400. Second, only slot bets are named as counting. Third, the window is short: 3 days is less than half the 7 days Casumo allows for its own 10x bonus. You also have to choose the casino welcome bonus when you sign up and make your first deposit within 7 days, and Skrill or Neteller deposits are excluded. The 10bet casino bonus review covers the offer as a whole; this page stays on the wagering.
Wagering, sometimes called playthrough, is the total value of bets you must place before bonus money turns into withdrawable cash. It is not an amount you lose. It is the volume of bets that must pass through the game.
How much the 10bet wagering comes to at each deposit size
Because the match is 100% with a £25 ceiling, the bonus equals your deposit up to £25 and then stops growing. The wagering grows with the bonus, so it also tops out at £250. Depositing more than £25 adds more of your own money but no extra bonus and no extra wagering.

The table assumes the deposit is made by a method that qualifies. 10bet does not publish a minimum deposit figure in its help centre, so check the cashier before you pick an amount. If you want to test your own numbers, our wagering calculator runs the same sums for any bonus and multiplier, and shows the formula behind it.
The 3-day limit: what 10x looks like in spins and minutes
Three days sounds generous until you translate the wagering into spins. Online slots in Great Britain must take at least 2.5 seconds per spin under the slot game design rules in force since 31 October 2021, with no autoplay or turbo. That puts a floor under how long any wagering target takes.

Those times are the bare minimum of reels turning; real play involves feature rounds and pauses, so it takes longer. The point is not to rush. It is to decide, before you opt in, whether you actually want to spend that much time on slots in the next 72 hours. If not, the bonus may simply expire, and the 10bet bonus expiry page explains what is lost when it does.
Higher stakes finish faster, but they also mean bigger swings in your balance and a quicker route to zero. UK law caps online slot stakes at £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, under the online slot stake limits. Check the full terms for any lower maximum bet while the bonus is active; our 10bet bonus max bet page covers that clause.
What clearing the 10bet wagering costs on average
Every slot has a house edge, the share of each bet the game keeps over the very long run. It is 100% minus the RTP. Multiply the wagering by the house edge and you get the average amount the bets are expected to cost. It is an average across huge numbers of spins, not a forecast for one session.

On a £25 bonus at a 96% RTP, the sums say the average player ends the wagering with something like £15 of the bonus’s value left, before the £1,000 cap or anything else is considered. In practice, results vary enormously. Many people lose the whole balance before the target is reached; a few hit a feature that leaves them well ahead. The bonus does not change the odds of any spin, and your own £25 deposit is exposed to the same house edge as the bonus. Our guide to what a bonus is worth goes further into why the average and the typical outcome differ.
RTP figures are set by each game and shown in its help or information screen. Check there rather than assuming a figure; some games are supplied in more than one RTP version.
Why only slot bets count towards the wagering
The offer terms say the bonus must be wagered on slots. Bets on table games, live casino or anything else should be treated as not counting unless the full terms say otherwise. Many casinos use a contribution percentage to weight games, and our guide to game weighting explains how that works. For this offer the simple reading is: slot stakes count, other stakes do not.
Within slots, the terms can still exclude particular titles. Check the 10bet bonus eligible games page and the promotion’s own list before playing. Playing an excluded game with bonus money is one of the commonest reasons a bonus is removed.
One thing slots-only wagering does not do is make the offer a sports or mixed product deal. Since 19 January 2026 a single incentive can’t combine betting and casino, so 10bet asks you to pick the casino or the sports welcome offer at registration. Our page on choosing a sports or casino welcome offer explains that choice.
Your deposit, the bonus and which money is being wagered
Gambling Commission guidance on withdrawing deposits while a bonus is active (opens in a new tab) says your deposit balance and bonus balance must be shown separately, that you must be able to withdraw from your deposit balance at any time, and that wagering requirements must not apply while you play with your own money. Wagering can apply to bonus winnings.
The guidance does not fix the order in which deposit and bonus funds are used, and 10bet’s published offer summary doesn’t spell it out either. Read the full terms for that order. It matters: if your own money is used first, withdrawing it ends your bonus play early; if bonus money goes first, the deposit sits untouched until the bonus is used or wagered. The 10bet bonus funds page goes into that split, and our answer on withdrawing your deposit with a bonus active covers the general rule.
The £1,000 cap on bonus winnings
The offer terms cap bonus winnings at £1,000. If a lucky run during wagering takes your bonus-linked balance beyond that, anything above the cap is removed when the bonus converts. A cap like this is common on match bonuses; our guide to the casino bonus max win explains the mechanics.
For most players the cap never comes into play: it is 40 times the largest possible bonus. It matters mainly as a reminder that the bonus is a short entertainment budget with a ceiling, not a route to a large payout.
How to keep track of your 10bet wagering
Casinos must show deposit and bonus balances separately, so the information is there; the job is to check it regularly. A simple routine:
Note the time the bonus is credited. The 3-day window starts then, so count 72 hours forward.
Multiply the bonus by 10 to get your wagering target, for example £20 × 10 = £200.
Open the bonus or promotions area of your account and find the wagering progress figure, if one is shown.
Check that your slot is not on any excluded list before each new game.
Keep each stake within the maximum bet in the full terms and within the legal limit for your age.
Stop when the session budget you set beforehand is used, whatever the progress bar says.
If the progress figure doesn’t match your own sums, ask support before playing on. 10bet lists a UK freephone line, 0808 175 0550, open 08:00 to 23:00 daily, plus live chat and email on its contact page (opens in a new tab).
10bet bonus wagering requirements and the UK 10x cap
Since 19 January 2026, social responsibility code 5.1.1 has stopped any licensed operator asking customers to play through bonus funds more than 10 times. The Gambling Commission’s announcement of safer and simpler promotions (opens in a new tab) set out the change, alongside the ban on mixed-product offers.
So 10bet’s 10x is the legal maximum, not a reduction it chose to make. What separates offers now is everything around the multiplier: how long you get, which games count, the maximum bet and any cap on winnings. On those measures 10bet’s 3 days is tight, while its slot-only rule and £1,000 cap are typical. For the full background see our page on the 10x wagering cap.

Is the 10bet wagering worth taking on?
That depends less on the maths than on how you like to play. The 10x wagering question has a general answer: 10x is now the ceiling, so it is as low as a wagered match bonus gets in the UK. The specific question here is whether 3 days and slots-only suit you.
Advantages
10x is the lowest multiplier a wagered UK match bonus can have under current rules.
Wagering applies to the bonus, not the deposit plus bonus.
A modest £25 ceiling keeps the total wagering to £250 at most.
Drawbacks
3 days is a short window; unfinished wagering means losing the bonus.
Only slots count, so table-game players get little use from it.
Bonus winnings are capped at £1,000.
Skrill and Neteller deposits don’t qualify.
Turning a bonus down is a perfectly sensible choice, especially if you would rather withdraw winnings from your own money without conditions. Our guide on opting out of bonuses explains how. And if any session stops feeling like entertainment, the tools on our safer gambling page are there to use, including deposit limits and GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab).
10bet and Casumo: how the wagering compares
Both offers below are wagered match bonuses at the 10x maximum, which makes them the fairest comparison among our five partners. The other three (Coral, Ladbrokes and PlayOJO) offer no wagering free spins instead. 18+, new customers only, terms apply.

10bet doubles a small deposit: £25 in, £25 bonus, £250 to wager in 3 days. Casumo gives half as much per pound but goes higher: a £200 deposit brings the £100 maximum, with £1,000 to wager in 7 days and a £5 maximum bet. Frequently asked questions
What are the 10bet bonus wagering requirements?
The 10bet casino welcome bonus must be wagered 10 times on slots within 3 days. The multiplier applies to the bonus only, so a £10 bonus needs £100 of slot bets and the maximum £25 bonus needs £250. Bonus winnings are capped at £1,000, and deposits made with Skrill or Neteller don’t qualify for the offer. You must also choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up and deposit within 7 days. Our 10bet casino bonus review covers the rest of the terms. 18+, terms apply.
Is the deposit included in the 10bet wagering?
No, the offer terms describe wagering as 10 times the bonus, not the deposit plus bonus. Deposit £20 and get a £20 bonus, and the target is £200 rather than £400. Gambling Commission guidance also says wagering requirements must not apply while you play with your own deposit balance, and that you must be able to withdraw that balance at any time. Read the full terms for the order in which deposit and bonus money are used, as our 10bet bonus funds page explains.
What happens if I don’t finish the wagering in 3 days?
If the 10x target isn’t met within 3 days, the bonus and the winnings tied to it are normally removed. Any of your own deposit money still in your account stays yours, because UK guidance says un-staked deposits remain the customer’s property. The time limit runs from when the bonus is credited, so note that moment carefully. Our 10bet bonus expiry page walks through what is kept, what is lost and how the time limit is counted.
Which games count towards 10bet wagering?
Slots are the games named in the offer terms as counting towards the 10x wagering. Bets on table games, live dealer games or other products should be treated as not counting unless the full terms say they do. Individual slots can also be excluded, so check the promotion’s game list before you start. Using bonus money on an excluded game is a common way to lose a bonus. See our 10bet eligible games page for detail.
How much does it cost to clear £250 of wagering?
On average, £250 of slot bets at a 96% RTP costs about £10, because the house edge is 4% and 4% of £250 is £10. At 94% RTP the average rises to £15; at 97% it falls to £7.50. These are long-run averages across very large numbers of spins, so a single session can end far above or below them, and losing the whole balance is common. The house edge glossary entry and our wagering calculator explain the sums.
Is 10x wagering good compared with other UK casinos?
Yes, 10x is the highest multiplier any UK-licensed casino can now set, so it is the norm for wagered bonuses rather than a stand-out. The cap took effect on 19 January 2026 under social responsibility code 5.1.1. Before that, 35x or more was common. Offers now differ on time limits, eligible games, maximum bets and caps on winnings. Our answer to is 10x wagering good and the 10x wagering cap page cover the change in detail.
Is there a maximum bet while wagering the 10bet bonus?
The offer summary we hold doesn’t state a maximum bet for 10bet, so check the full terms before you play. Whatever the casino sets, UK law limits online slot stakes to £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, and those caps apply to bonus play too. Breaking a stated bonus max-bet rule can lead to winnings being removed. Our 10bet bonus max bet page has more.
Can I withdraw before the 10bet wagering is complete?
You can withdraw your own deposit balance at any time, but bonus money and the winnings attached to it are not withdrawable until the 10x wagering is done. Withdrawing your deposit while the bonus is active will usually end the bonus, so read the full terms first. UK rules also ban reverse withdrawals, so once you request a payout you can’t cancel it and gamble the money. Our 10bet withdrawal time page covers payout speeds by method.
Do Skrill or Neteller deposits get the 10bet bonus?
No, the offer terms exclude deposits made with Skrill and Neteller from the 10bet welcome bonus. If your first deposit uses either e-wallet, there is no bonus to wager. Debit cards are not named among the exclusions, but check the cashier and full terms for anything else that may not qualify. The 10bet payment methods for the bonus page lists what 10bet accepts and why e-wallets are often excluded.
Does a bigger deposit mean more wagering at 10bet?
Only up to £25, because that is where the 100% match stops. A £25 deposit and a £100 deposit both earn a £25 bonus and the same £250 wagering target. Anything above £25 is your own money, which you can withdraw without wagering under UK guidance. Depositing more does not improve the offer and simply raises what you have at risk, so set your amount before opening the cashier. Our £25 deposit bonus page looks at offers built around that figure.
