A bingo bonus gives you bonus funds or tickets to spend in online bingo rooms, usually after a deposit and with wagering or room restrictions attached. None of our partners currently publishes a bingo welcome offer, so this guide explains how bingo bonuses work, what tickets are really worth and how the 2026 rules changed bingo promotions.
A bingo bonus is usually bonus funds or tickets for selected bingo rooms, with its own wagering and expiry.
Since 19 January 2026 one promotion can’t mix bingo with casino games such as slots, and wagering is capped at 10x.
What a ticket returns depends on the room’s prizes and how many tickets are sold, so value varies game by game.
None of our partners publishes a bingo welcome offer; PlayOJO runs bingo, but its welcome offer is slot spins. 18+, terms apply.

Bingo bonus: what it is and who offers one
A bingo bonus is a promotion you can only spend on bingo: bonus funds, free tickets or entry to a special room, normally triggered by a deposit or by buying a set amount of tickets. It works differently from a casino bonus because your “stake” is a ticket price, and what each ticket can return depends on the prize on offer and how many other tickets are in play.
To be straight about our partners: none of them publishes a bingo welcome bonus. PlayOJO is the only one with bingo listed among its products in our checked data, and it has held a Gambling Commission bingo licence since February 2020 according to the public register entry for Skill On Net Limited (opens in a new tab). Its welcome offer, though, is 80 spins on a slot. The casino bonuses by game hub links to our other game-by-game guides.
Types of bingo bonus in the UK
Bingo promotions come in a handful of shapes. The labels vary between sites, so read what each one actually gives you.

Bonus funds for bingo tickets, a percentage of your deposit
Prizes won with bonus tickets are sometimes paid as bonus funds with their own wagering, not cash. That detail sits in the terms, not the headline. Our guide to how bonuses work on bingo covers the mechanics in more depth.
How a bingo bonus works, from deposit to withdrawal
Check you’re eligible: 18+, a new or existing customer as the offer says, and in Great Britain if it’s a UK-licensed site.
Opt in, then deposit with a payment method the terms accept; e-wallets and prepaid cards are often excluded.
Bonus funds or tickets appear in your bingo balance, usually separate from cash.
Buy tickets in the eligible rooms; your cash is normally used first unless the terms say otherwise.
Wager the bonus the required number of times (no more than 10x) before the deadline.
Once wagering is met, any remaining bonus converts to cash you can withdraw.
Your own deposit stays yours throughout: the CMA undertakings and Commission guidance say you can withdraw your deposit balance at any time, though doing so usually forfeits the bonus. See can I withdraw my deposit with a bonus active for the detail.
Bingo bonus maths: tickets, prizes and player numbers
Slots publish an RTP; bingo rooms usually don’t have a single fixed figure, because the return on a ticket depends on the prize and the number of tickets bought. A room with a fixed £10 prize behaves very differently with 50 tickets sold than with 500.
The table below is an illustration only, using a hypothetical game with a fixed £10 prize and 10p tickets, to show how the average return per ticket moves.

In a quiet room the average return can exceed the ticket price, and in a busy one it can fall well below. Rooms whose prize grows with ticket sales sit somewhere in between. Check the room’s information panel for the prize, ticket price and any payout details before you buy, and treat every ticket as a cost of entertainment: most tickets win nothing.
Worked example: a £10 bingo bonus at 4x and 10x
Say a site offers a £10 bingo bonus. Here’s what different wagering requirements would ask of you, using 10p tickets:
4x wagering: £40 of tickets, which is 400 tickets at 10p.
10x wagering (the UK maximum since 19 January 2026): £100 of tickets, or 1,000 tickets at 10p.
If the room returned 70% on average (a hypothetical figure): 1,000 tickets would cost about £30 in expected losses, three times the £10 bonus.
That last line is the key point. Bingo’s return per ticket is often lower and less predictable than a typical slot RTP, so heavy wagering can eat a bonus quickly. Lower multiples, longer deadlines and cash prizes all make a bingo bonus kinder. Our wagering requirements guide shows the general method, and the wagering calculator does the sums for you.
Why bingo and slots offers were split in 2026
Until early 2026, bingo welcome packages often bundled bingo bonus funds with slot spins. Since 19 January 2026, Gambling Commission rules say an incentive can’t include more than one type of gambling product, naming betting, casino, bingo and lottery. A single offer giving bingo tickets plus casino spins now falls on the wrong side of that line.
Operators can still run a bingo offer and a separate casino offer, each with its own terms and opt-in. If you see an advert combining the two in one promotion, check the date and the licence. The Commission explains the change in gambling promotions to be safer and simpler (opens in a new tab), and our page on the mixed-product promotion ban sets out what counts. Spins advertised alongside bingo are covered on our free spins bingo page.
Bingo bonus terms to check before you buy tickets
Eligible rooms: many bonuses work only in named rooms or at certain ticket prices.
Wagering: the multiple, and whether it applies to the bonus only (it can’t exceed 10x).
Order of spend: whether cash or bonus funds are used first for each ticket.
Prize form: whether wins from bonus tickets are paid as cash or as bonus funds.
Expiry: deadlines for using tickets and finishing wagering; see bonus expiry.
Maximum win or cashout: any cap on what bonus play can pay; see max cashout.
Payment exclusions: which deposit methods don’t qualify.
Account limits: one offer per person, household or device is common.
Under LCCP 5.1.9 the significant conditions should be shown with the offer, and the full terms no more than one click away. If they aren’t, our guide to casino bonus terms explains what to ask for.
Game weighting: does bingo count towards a casino bonus?
A casino welcome bonus and a bingo bonus are now separate products, so bingo tickets generally won’t count towards casino wagering, and casino games won’t count towards a bingo bonus. Inside casino terms, bingo-style games such as Slingo sit in their own category with their own weighting; see our Slingo bonus page.
The general idea of game weighting still applies within a bingo bonus: some terms count only certain rooms or ticket prices. Read which games are excluded from bonuses for the broader picture.

Bingo’s chat rooms and frequent games can make time pass quickly, and a deadline on a bonus can add pressure to buy more tickets. Decide your budget before you join a room, use deposit limits and reality checks, and walk away from any offer that pushes you to play more than you planned.

Where to play: offers to consider instead of a bingo bonus
There’s no partner bingo welcome bonus to point you to. These three offers are for slots, carry no wagering on spin winnings and are 18+ with terms applying:
PlayOJO: first deposit of £10 or more for 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each (£8 of spins), winnings paid in cash. New UK customers, Northern Ireland excluded; only via the designated offer link. PlayOJO runs bingo too, but this welcome offer is for the slot.
Coral: deposit (certain types excluded) and bet £10+ on slots for 100 free spins at 10p on selected games (£10 of spins). Accept within 48 hours; spins valid 7 days; no wagering. Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify.
Ladbrokes: deposit and spend £10+ on slots for 50 free spins a day for 10 days, up to 500 at 10p (up to £50). Claim by 23:59 daily; spins valid 7 days; no wagering. Prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers don’t qualify.
Buying bingo tickets wouldn’t meet Coral’s or Ladbrokes’ qualifying stake, which must be on slots. Coral and Ladbrokes are run by the same company, so check the terms before opening both. PlayOJO says OJOplus pays money back on every game played; its help pages say how that applies to bingo.
None of these is a bingo bonus: all three are slot offers. PlayOJO is listed first because it also runs bingo, though its welcome spins are on Big Bass Bonanza. 18+, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.
Significant terms: 18+. New UK customers (excluding Northern Ireland). First deposit only. Minimum deposit £10. 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza, £0.10 each. No wagering requirements; winnings paid in cash. Cannot be used with any other offer. Only available to players who arrive through the designated offer link. Full T&Cs apply. GamCare.org.uk

Frequently asked questions
What is a bingo bonus?
A bingo bonus is a promotion you can spend only on online bingo, such as bonus funds for tickets, bonus tickets for named games or access to new-player rooms. It usually needs a deposit or ticket purchase and comes with wagering, room restrictions and an expiry date. From 19 January 2026, wagering has been capped at 10 times the bonus, and the offer can’t also include casino games. Our guide to how bonuses work on bingo explains the mechanics step by step.
Do any of your partner casinos offer a bingo bonus?
No. None of Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo or 10bet publishes a bingo welcome bonus. PlayOJO does run bingo and has held a bingo licence since February 2020, but its welcome offer is 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza after a £10 first deposit, with no wagering on winnings. Coral and Ladbrokes give spins after a £10 slots stake. All are 18+ and terms apply. See the PlayOJO bonus terms for the full conditions.
Can I still get a bingo and slots welcome package?
Not as one promotion. Gambling Commission rules in force from 19 January 2026 ban incentives that include more than one type of gambling product, and bingo and casino count as different products. An operator can run a bingo offer and a separate casino offer, each with its own terms and opt-in, but can’t combine them in a single package. If you see a combined offer, check whether the site is UK-licensed. Read our mixed-product promotion ban page for the detail.
How much wagering does a bingo bonus have?
No more than 10 times the bonus at UK-licensed sites since 19 January 2026, and some offers set less. A £10 bingo bonus at 10x means £100 of tickets, or 1,000 tickets at 10p, before the remaining bonus becomes cash. Because a room’s average return per ticket varies with prizes and player numbers, high wagering can use up a bingo bonus quickly. Our 10x wagering cap page explains the rule and the date it started.
What is the RTP of online bingo?
There usually isn’t one fixed figure, because each game’s return depends on its prize and how many tickets are sold. With a fixed £10 prize and 10p tickets, a room with 100 tickets returns 10p per ticket on average, but a room with 500 tickets returns only 2p. Rooms whose prizes grow with sales behave differently again. Check each room’s information panel for the prize and ticket price. The RTP glossary entry explains the slot equivalent.
Are winnings from bonus bingo tickets paid in cash?
Sometimes, but not always. Some offers pay prizes from bonus tickets as cash, while others pay them as bonus funds that carry their own wagering before you can withdraw. The terms will say which, usually in the section on prizes or bonus winnings. A cash prize is worth considerably more than the same amount in bonus funds. Our answer on whether bonus wins are paid in cash covers the general rules.
Do bingo tickets count towards a casino bonus?
Generally not. Under the rules in force from 19 January 2026, a casino bonus and a bingo bonus are separate promotions, so bingo tickets normally won’t count towards casino wagering, and casino games won’t clear a bingo bonus. Bingo-style casino games such as Slingo are classed as casino games and have their own weighting in casino terms. Always read the game-contribution table. Our game weighting guide explains how contributions are set.
Which payment methods qualify for bingo bonuses?
It depends on the operator, but welcome offers commonly exclude e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill and Neteller, along with prepaid cards and paysafecard. Debit cards are the method most often accepted. Credit cards can’t be used for gambling in Great Britain at all, a ban in force since 14 April 2020. Check the payment section of the terms before depositing. Our guide on how payment exclusions work explains why these exclusions exist.
Can Northern Ireland players claim a bingo bonus?
It depends on the operator’s terms, and some offers exclude Northern Ireland altogether; PlayOJO’s welcome offer, for example, is for new UK customers excluding Northern Ireland. The Gambling Act 2005 and Gambling Commission rules cover Great Britain, so players in Northern Ireland shouldn’t assume the same protections apply. Check the eligibility section of each offer. Our answer on whether you can get a bonus in Northern Ireland has more.
Is a bingo bonus worth it?
Only if it fits bingo you’d play anyway and the terms are light. Look for low wagering, a realistic deadline, cash prizes and rooms you actually like. A bonus doesn’t change how bingo works: most tickets win nothing, and buying more to meet a target raises your spending. It’s fine to turn an offer down and play with your own money only. Our guide on whether a casino bonus is worth it sets out the questions to ask.
