Those figures sit inside the UK's 10x wagering cap, which the Gambling Commission brought in on 19 January 2026. Casumo's requirement is at the ceiling the rules now allow, not below it. Casumo app details for iPhone and Android

The two store listings describe slightly different products. On Apple's store, Casumo publishes one combined casino and sportsbook app; on Google Play, the listing is titled as a casino and slots app. The bonus works the same in both, because it is attached to the account you log in with.

How to claim the Casumo bonus in the app

1. Install the app from the App Store or Google Play and open it.
2. Register with your real name, date of birth and UK address; Casumo must check your age and identity before you can deposit.
3. Set a deposit limit when prompted; since 31 October 2025 UK operators must ask you to set one before your first deposit.
4. Open the cashier, choose the welcome offer and confirm you are opting in.
5. Pick a payment method the bonus terms allow and deposit at least £20.
6. Check that your bonus balance shows 50% of the deposit, up to £100, separately from your cash balance.
7. Play eligible games at £5 a bet or less and track your wagering progress within the 7-day window.

What the Casumo app bonus is worth: worked examples

A 50% match sounds generous, but the value depends on how much you deposit and on the cost of the wagering. Bonus wagering is played on games with a built-in house edge, so part of the bonus is used up, on average, before you can withdraw what is left. The figures below use a 4% house edge, roughly a slot with 96% RTP, and they are long-run averages only. One session can land far above or far below them, and losing the whole bonus and deposit is entirely possible.

The £5 max bet and stake limits on the Casumo app

Touchscreen bet selectors make it easy to tap the stake up by mistake. While the welcome bonus is active, Casumo's terms cap each bet at £5, and breaking that rule can cost you the bonus and anything won with it. Two legal limits sit underneath the bonus rule on online slots. Since 9 April 2025, players aged 25 and over can stake no more than £5 per spin; since 21 May 2025, players aged 18 to 24 are limited to £2. The Gambling Commission's stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab) sets these out. For an 18-year-old on the app, the £2 slot limit is the tighter one, so the £5 bonus cap only matters on other eligible games.

Those times are the bare minimum because UK slot rules, in force since 31 October 2021, require at least 2.5 seconds per spin and ban autoplay and turbo modes. Real sessions take longer. Paying in through the Casumo app for the bonus

Casumo's site says its minimum deposit is £10 for all payment methods, but the welcome bonus needs £20. Methods named for deposits are Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking. The iOS listing also mentions Apple Pay and a Quick Deposit feature inside the app.

The bonus terms say payment restrictions apply, and the short version of the terms doesn't list which methods are excluded. Many UK casinos leave e-wallets and prepaid cards out of welcome offers, so check the full terms before choosing PayPal, Skrill or Paysafecard for the qualifying deposit. Credit cards can't be used to gamble in Great Britain, a ban in place since 14 April 2020 that also covers e-wallets topped up by credit card. Apple Pay linked to a credit card falls under the same rule.

The App Store listing describes several features beyond the welcome offer. None of them changes the welcome bonus terms, and some are separate reward systems with their own rules.

Because the iOS app also contains the sportsbook, keep the welcome offer in its lane. The UK's mixed-product promotion ban, in force since 19 January 2026, stops a single incentive from spanning casino and betting, so casino bonus wagering should not be expected to count on sports bets. Casumo app privacy, login and permissions

Apple's privacy label for the iOS app says some data may be used to track you, including identifiers, usage data and diagnostics, and that financial information, contact details and identifiers are linked to you. The Google Play data safety section says the app may share location data, collects personal and financial information, encrypts data in transit and lets you request deletion. Casumo's help pages that we checked don't state whether location services must be switched on, so follow any prompt the app shows and contact support if you're unsure.

Face ID or Touch ID login is convenient, but anyone who can open your phone could also reach your account if biometrics are shared. Keep the app behind your own device lock, and never let another person use your account: third-party use is a standard reason for bonus winnings to be withheld under most terms, as our page on what happens if you break bonus terms explains.

Verification and withdrawals on the Casumo app

UK rules require age and identity checks before you deposit or gamble, so some customers are asked to upload documents straight after registering. When you withdraw, Casumo's site says requests are reviewed within hours and its withdrawal policy says they are approved or denied within 3 days.
