Ladbrokes VIP and loyalty

Ladbrokes VIP and loyalty schemes are less visible than the welcome offer: we found no published tiered VIP programme for Ladbrokes Casino. What is published is a reward currency called LadBucks in the casino app, free-to-play games, existing-customer offers in the Offers area and, for shop customers, Club Ladbrokes Rewards. Here's what each is and the UK rules behind them. 18+, terms apply.

Key takeaways

  • We found no published, tiered Ladbrokes Casino VIP programme with public entry criteria.
  • The casino app lists LadBucks, a reward currency used on arcade games, plus free-to-play games.
  • Club Ladbrokes Rewards sits in the retail (shop) section of Ladbrokes' help centre.
  • UK rules since 31 October 2020 require affordability, harm and source-of-funds checks before anyone is treated as a VIP.
  • Loyalty rewards never offset the house edge: you'll lose more on average than rewards return.

Does Ladbrokes have a VIP or loyalty scheme?

Not in the form many people expect. In the sources we checked in October 2026, Ladbrokes Casino doesn't publish a tiered VIP programme with named levels, entry thresholds or a points table. What Ladbrokes does publish is a set of smaller reward features: LadBucks, a reward currency the casino app describes as used on arcade games; free-to-play games such as Instant Spins and a daily prize wheel; offers for existing customers in the Offers area of your account; and, for people who bet in its shops, Club Ladbrokes Rewards.

That matters if you searched for Ladbrokes VIP and loyalty expecting a points-for-cash scheme. We won't describe tiers, comp-point rates or VIP managers that aren't published. If Ladbrokes invites a customer into a high-value scheme, that would be by invitation and subject to the checks set out below. For the welcome deal itself, see our Ladbrokes casino bonus review.

The help centre's guide to offer types names free spins, deposit bonuses, direct bonuses and several betting rewards, but it doesn't describe a casino loyalty ladder. The terms for the retail scheme were not available for us to read, so we don't give its earning rates or rewards here. Check the scheme's terms in the help centre's retail section if you use Ladbrokes shops.

LadBucks and free-to-play games in the Ladbrokes app

The Ladbrokes Casino app on the App Store (opens in a new tab) lists LadBucks as a reward currency used on arcade games, alongside free-to-play options: Instant Spins, a daily prize wheel and contests built around game shows and live roulette. These sit outside the cash balance. How LadBucks are earned and what each one is worth aren't set out in the listing, so open the feature's terms in the app before relying on it.

Free-to-play games can still lead to prizes, but they don't count as real-money slot play, so they don't help with the welcome offer's £10 qualifying spend. They also require age verification before you can access them, a rule in place since May 2019. Our guide to casino missions and prize drops explains how similar reward features work elsewhere.

Ladbrokes offers for existing customers

For most players, loyalty at Ladbrokes means occasional offers after the welcome spins. Ladbrokes' help centre says the Offers area shows current bonuses and rewards, lets you read terms under More Info, opt in, track progress, and activate, pause or delete rewards. It also lists available and expired promotions. Our page on Ladbrokes offers for existing customers looks at these in detail.

  1. Log in and open the Offers area from the menu.
  2. Choose the casino product to see casino promotions.
  3. Open More Info on any offer and read the terms before opting in.
  4. Opt in only to offers you'd use with play you'd do anyway.
  5. Track progress in the same place and check Offer History afterwards.
  6. Set marketing preferences under My Account, Settings, Communication Preferences.

Since 1 May 2025, UK casinos must let you choose marketing by product (betting, casino, bingo) and channel (email, SMS, phone), with no channel switched on by default. You can therefore receive casino offers without betting promotions, or nothing at all. The marketing consent rules page has the dates.

UK rules on VIP and high-value customer schemes

VIP schemes have been tightly regulated in Great Britain since 31 October 2020. The Gambling Commission's rules on VIP customer practices (opens in a new tab) require operators to check that a customer's spending is affordable and sustainable, assess evidence of harm or vulnerability, and hold up-to-date ID, occupation and source-of-funds evidence before treating anyone as a high-value customer. A senior manager with a personal licence must oversee each scheme.

The Commission's High Value Customers industry guidance (opens in a new tab) explains how operators should run these checks. Our VIP scheme rules page summarises them, and how VIP schemes work explains the mechanics.

Why VIP checks are strict at Ladbrokes' operator

High-value customers are where the risk of harm and money laundering is greatest, which is why regulators focus on them.com and coral.co.uk. The Commission's announcement of the Entain settlement (opens in a new tab) describes large deposits accepted without enough source-of-funds checks and slow interaction with customers at risk.

For a player, the practical meaning is that higher spending brings more questions, not fewer. Expect source-of-funds requests and safer gambling conversations as deposits rise. Our explainer on whether VIP schemes are safe and the glossary entry on high value customers go further.

What loyalty rewards are really worth

Loyalty schemes give back a small slice of what you stake, while the house edge takes a larger one. Because Ladbrokes publishes no reward rate, the example below uses round illustrative figures to show the relationship, not Ladbrokes' terms.

Illustrative: loyalty rewards vs the house edge on slots
Total stakedAverage cost at 4% house edgeReward at an illustrative 0.5% rateNet average cost
£500£20£2.50£17.50
£1,000£40£5£35
£5,000£200£25£175

At every level, the average cost of play is far larger than the reward. Loyalty perks can add a little value to play you'd do anyway, but chasing them means spending more to get back a fraction of it. The house edge and expected value entries explain the maths, and our comparison of loyalty vs VIP schemes looks at how the two differ.

How Ladbrokes loyalty compares with our other partners

Of our five partners, PlayOJO is the one with a clearly published ongoing reward: OJOplus, which pays money back on every game played with no wagering. Casumo's app describes an Adventure and Trophy Collection with a levelling avatar, and Coral's app lists Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins. Ladbrokes' equivalents are LadBucks and its free-to-play games. None of these change the odds of the games. Our casino loyalty and VIP bonus guide and the cashback bonus page compare the formats, and Coral VIP and loyalty covers Coral's version.

How to stop VIP or loyalty marketing from Ladbrokes

You don't have to accept rewards or contact from a VIP team. Change your Communication Preferences in My Account to turn off casino marketing by email, SMS or phone. You can delete rewards in the Offers area, set deposit limits or take a time-out, and self-exclude across all UK-licensed sites through GAMSTOP. Operators must stop marketing and new bonus take-up for customers showing strong signs of harm. The general guide on how to stop bonus offers covers each method.

If gambling feels harder to control, the National Gambling Helpline, run by GamCare, is free on 0808 8020 133 at any time, and GAMSTOP (opens in a new tab) lets you block yourself from every UK-licensed gambling site. NHS gambling clinics offer specialist treatment.

Where Ladbrokes' rewards start: the welcome offer

The Ladbrokes offer below is the welcome deal for new customers, not a loyalty scheme: 18+, deposit and spend £10 on slots for 50 free spins a day for 10 days (max 500), 10p each, claim before 23:59 daily, valid 7 days, no wagering. PayPal, prepaid card, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers deposits don't qualify. Terms apply.

Coral is listed second as a sister brand with its own app reward features: its welcome deal is 100 free spins at 10p after a £10 slots bet, accepted within 48 hours and valid 7 days, no wagering, with certain deposit types excluded. 18+, terms apply. Both are run by LC International Limited, so check the terms before opening accounts at each.

Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Ladbrokes Casino VIP club?

We found no published, tiered VIP club for Ladbrokes Casino in the sources we checked in October 2026, with no public levels, thresholds or benefit lists. Any high-value scheme would be by invitation and subject to Gambling Commission rules requiring affordability, harm and source-of-funds checks first. What Ladbrokes does publish are LadBucks, free-to-play games and existing-customer offers. The how VIP schemes work guide explains how invitation-only schemes usually operate.

What are LadBucks?

LadBucks are a reward currency described in the Ladbrokes casino app listing as used on arcade games. They're separate from your cash balance. The listing doesn't explain how LadBucks are earned or what they're worth, so read the feature's terms in the app before relying on them. They don't count towards the welcome offer's £10 slots spend and don't change the odds of any game. Our comp points page explains how reward currencies generally work.

What is Club Ladbrokes Rewards?

Club Ladbrokes Rewards is a rewards scheme listed in the retail section of Ladbrokes' help centre, which covers its betting shops, and it has its own terms and conditions. Those terms weren't available for us to read, so we don't describe earning rates or rewards. It isn't presented as an online casino VIP programme. If you use Ladbrokes shops, check the scheme's terms there. For online play, rewards come through the Offers area; see Ladbrokes offers for existing customers.

How do I get Ladbrokes rewards as an existing customer?

Check the Offers area of your account, where Ladbrokes' help centre says you can view current bonuses and rewards, read the terms under More Info, opt in and track progress. Make sure your Communication Preferences allow casino marketing if you want to hear about offers; since 1 May 2025 you choose by product and channel. Opt in only to rewards that suit play you'd do anyway. Our reload bonus guide explains a common type of existing-customer offer.

Do Ladbrokes loyalty rewards make gambling cheaper?

No. Rewards return a small fraction of what you stake, while the house edge takes a larger share over time. As an illustration, staking £1,000 on slots with a 4% edge costs about £40 on average; a reward of 0.5% would return £5. Rewards can add a little to play you'd do anyway, but they don't change the odds and shouldn't be a reason to play more. The explainer on whether gambling with a bonus is safer covers this.

Can Ladbrokes stop giving me bonuses?

Yes. Gambling Commission rules since 12 February 2023 require operators to stop marketing and new bonus take-up for customers showing strong signs of harm. An operator can also restrict bonuses for reasons set out in its terms, such as irregular play. If offers stop and you're unsure why, you can ask support. If you'd prefer to stop them yourself, change your marketing preferences or self-exclude. Our bonuses and harm indicators page explains the rule.

Are VIP schemes still allowed in the UK?

Yes, but under strict conditions in force since 31 October 2020. Before treating anyone as a VIP, operators must confirm that spending is affordable and sustainable, assess harm and vulnerability, and hold current ID, occupation and source-of-funds evidence. A senior manager must oversee each scheme. Since 19 January 2026, any incentive also has a 10x wagering cap and can't mix gambling products. The VIP scheme rules page has the details.

Is Ladbrokes loyalty better than PlayOJO's OJOplus?

They're different in kind. PlayOJO publishes OJOplus as a money-back feature on every game played, with no wagering. Ladbrokes publishes reward features such as LadBucks and free-to-play games, but no ongoing money-back rate. Neither offsets the house edge, so neither is a reason to choose a casino on its own. Compare the welcome offers and safer gambling tools instead. Our Ladbrokes vs PlayOJO bonus comparison sets the two side by side.

Does Ladbrokes share loyalty with Coral?

We found nothing published that links Ladbrokes and Coral rewards, and each app lists its own features: LadBucks for Ladbrokes, and Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins for Coral. Both brands are run by LC International Limited, which may matter for welcome-offer eligibility, so read the terms before joining both. Our page on casino sister sites and bonuses explains how shared ownership affects offers.
