Easter casino bonus guide

An Easter casino bonus is a spring promotion run over the Easter bank holiday weekend, most often an ‘egg hunt’ of mystery rewards, spins on a rabbit or spring-themed slot after a qualifying deposit, or a reload match. None of our partners has a verified Easter offer, so this guide explains how these promotions work and points to the standard welcome offers instead. 18+, terms apply.

Key takeaways

  • We haven’t verified an Easter promotion at any partner; their standard welcome offers are the honest alternative.
  • Egg hunt prizes are worth their probability-weighted average, which is usually far smaller than the top prize.
  • Easter moves each year (28 March in 2027), so check the exact dates and times in the terms.
  • Promotions linking spring horse racing bets to casino rewards have been banned since 19 January 2026.

Easter casino bonus formats you’re likely to see

Easter promotions are built around the long weekend from Good Friday to Easter Monday. The theme is eggs, bunnies and spring, but the mechanics are the familiar ones described on our types of casino bonus hub:

Common Easter promotion formats
FormatHow it worksMain thing to check
Egg huntPick an egg to reveal a random rewardThe odds of each prize, if shown
Rabbit or spring slot spinsSpins on a named game after a qualifying deposit or betSpin value, game and expiry
Bank holiday reloadA percentage match on a deposit over the weekendWagering and deadline
Prize dropsRandom prizes on selected games during the weekendWhich games and stakes qualify

The egg hunt is the format most specific to Easter, and it works like a pick and win or lucky dip bonus: you choose, a prize is revealed, and the prize carries its own terms.

We haven’t verified a dated Easter promotion at Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO, Casumo or 10bet. Promotions for existing customers change frequently, so check the promotions page closer to the weekend.

Easter egg hunt maths: what a mystery prize is really worth

An egg hunt advertises its biggest prize, but what matters is the average value across every egg. That is the expected value: each prize’s value multiplied by its chance, added together. Here is an illustrative example, not a real offer:

Illustrative egg hunt: average value per egg
PrizeChanceFace valueValue after playContribution to average
5 spins at 10p, no wagering70%50pabout 48p at 96% RTPabout 34p
20 spins at 10p, no wagering25%£2about £1.92about 48p
£10 bonus, 10x wagering5%£10about £6 after £4 average costabout 30p
Total100%about £1.12 per egg

Even though the headline prize is £10, the average egg in this example is worth about £1.12, and seven in ten eggs give 50p of spins. If the egg hunt needs a £20 deposit to take part, that’s a small return on what you put in, and the deposit itself will be played at the house edge. Our mystery bonus page explains how to spot when odds aren’t published.

How an Easter casino bonus works from opt-in to payout

  1. Find the promotion on the casino’s promotions page and open the full terms, which must be one click away.
  2. Opt in; you can’t be entered automatically under UK guidance.
  3. Complete the qualifying action, such as a deposit or a set amount of slot play, within the stated window.
  4. Claim your reward: open the egg, collect the spins or receive the bonus funds.
  5. Use the reward before it expires; many seasonal spins last 24 hours to 7 days.
  6. Meet any wagering, never more than 10x the bonus, before withdrawing bonus winnings.

Our step-by-step guide on how to claim a casino bonus covers the same process in more detail, including the identity checks you’ll need before you can deposit.

Easter dates, bank holidays and deadlines

Easter is a moveable feast, so ‘Easter weekend’ means different dates each year. In 2027, Good Friday is 26 March, Easter Sunday 28 March and Easter Monday 29 March. A promotion described as running ‘over Easter’ should state exact start and end times in its terms.

  • Check the time zone and cut-off. A reward that must be claimed ‘by 23:59 on Easter Monday’ is gone at midnight.
  • Count the days. A 7-day validity period starting on Good Friday ends the following Friday.
  • Allow for withdrawals. Some payment methods quote business days, so a withdrawal requested over a bank holiday may take longer to arrive. Check the casino’s published times.
  • Look for excluded dates. Some offers exclude specific days; the terms should say so plainly.

Excluded dates matter. In August 2025 the ASA ruled against a £5 free bet voucher that wasn’t valid on Cheltenham Gold Cup day, because leaving that out of the ad hid a significant condition. The ruling is summarised in the ASA’s guidance on free bets and bonuses (opens in a new tab). Our bonus calendar shows how seasonal offers fall through the year, and bank holiday casino bonus covers the other long weekends.

Spring racing and the mixed-product promotion ban

Easter falls in the middle of the spring racing season, and casinos owned by bookmakers once ran ‘bet on the big race, get casino spins’ promotions. Since 19 January 2026 that’s not allowed: an incentive can’t include more than one type of gambling product. The Commission explained the decision in its consultation response on socially responsible incentives (opens in a new tab), which also set the 10x wagering cap.

So an Easter casino promotion must be earned through casino play, and a racing offer through bets. If you hold accounts with a bookmaker that also runs a casino, expect separate promotions for each. Our mixed-product promotion ban page explains the rule and our sports or casino welcome offer page shows how it changed sign-up offers.

Rabbit and spring slots used for Easter free spins

Casinos often attach Easter spins to a rabbit-themed game. Published figures for two well-known titles:

Rabbit-themed slots: published figures
SlotDeveloperRTPVolatilityMax win
Fat RabbitPush Gaming96.45% (94.15% version exists)HighCheck the help screen
White Rabbit MegawaysBig Time Gaming97.24%Medium-high17,420×

Twenty spins at 10p (£2) on White Rabbit Megaways would return about £1.94 on average at its published RTP; on the 94.15% version of Fat Rabbit, the same £2 returns about £1.88. The gap is small on a few spins but grows with play, which is why it’s worth checking the help screen for the RTP version in use. For more on how theme affects value, see how to choose slots for free spins.

Easter casino bonus terms worth reading twice

Seasonal terms are often written quickly and reused from one holiday to the next, so a few lines deserve a second look before you opt in.

  • Prohibited play. Commission guidance on promotional play restrictions (opens in a new tab) says terms must spell out every banned type or pattern of play in advance, and a casino can’t keep sole discretion to decide what breaks them.
  • Prize form. Check whether an egg pays spins, bonus funds with wagering, or cash; the three are worth very different amounts.
  • Stake rules. A bonus max bet sits on top of the legal slot limits of £5 a spin for over-25s and £2 for 18–24s.
  • Eligibility. Existing customers only, opted-in players only, or one reward per person or household.
  • Payment exclusions. E-wallets and prepaid cards are often excluded from deposit-triggered rewards.

If a term reads as though the casino can void winnings whenever it likes, our guide on how to spot unfair bonus terms explains why that wording isn’t allowed and what you can do about it.

Is an Easter casino bonus worth it?

An Easter casino bonus is worth claiming only if it fits money you had already set aside for entertainment. Egg hunts in particular are designed to feel exciting while delivering small average rewards. Long weekends can also mean more time to play, so a time limit or reality check is as useful as a deposit limit. Bonuses don’t change any game’s odds, and losses over time are the likely outcome.

Advantages

  • Same 10x cap and clear-terms rules as any other offer
  • Mystery prizes can be valued once odds are known
  • Opt-in means you choose whether to take part

Drawbacks

  • Top prizes are rare; average values are small
  • Bank holiday timing can delay withdrawals by method
  • Odds for mystery rewards aren’t always published

Easter casino bonus alternatives from our partners

No partner has a verified Easter promotion, so here are the standard welcome offers as checked on 5 October 2026. Coral is listed first as the closest match on spin value, but its published dates end on 1 February 2027, before Easter; check what it offers by then. Ladbrokes’ runs until further notice, and PlayOJO’s has no published end date. All are 18+ and terms apply.

  • Coral: new players deposit (certain types excluded) and bet £10+ on slots to get 100 spins at 10p on selected games, £10 of spins; accept within 48 hours, valid 7 days, no wagering on winnings. Qualifying deposits can’t be made by Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid card or certain debit cards.
  • Ladbrokes: for new customers who deposit and spend £10 or more on slots, 50 spins at 10p arrive each day for 10 days (500 maximum, up to £50 in total); claim each batch before 23:59 and use it within 7 days, with no wagering. Qualifying deposits can’t be made by prepaid card, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill or Moneybookers.
  • PlayOJO: new UK customers excluding Northern Ireland get 80 spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p with a first deposit of at least £10; winnings paid in cash, designated link only.

None of these lets you pick a rabbit-themed game: Coral and Ladbrokes name their own selected games on the promotion page, and PlayOJO’s spins are on Big Bass Bonanza.

Frequently asked questions

Do UK casinos have Easter bonuses?

Some UK casinos run Easter promotions, usually for existing customers over the bank holiday weekend. Typical formats are egg hunts with mystery prizes, spins on a spring or rabbit-themed slot and reload matches. We haven’t verified an Easter promotion at any of our partners, and seasonal offers change every year. Our types of casino bonus hub explains each format, so you can judge one when it appears.

How do casino Easter egg hunts work?

You pick an egg, usually after opting in and meeting a qualifying condition, and it reveals a random reward such as a few spins, bonus funds or a prize entry. Each reward has its own terms. The headline top prize is typically rare, so the average egg is worth much less. Work out the expected value if the odds are published. Our pick and win page explains how these reveal-style promotions are valued.

Are Easter free spins really free?

Usually not without conditions: most need a qualifying deposit or a set amount of play before they’re credited. Once credited, the spins don’t cost extra, and no-wagering spins pay winnings as cash. UK advertising guidance says an offer shouldn’t be called free if you must risk your own money, so the condition should appear right beside the headline. Our page on ‘free’ in gambling ads explains the rule.

When is Easter 2027 for casino promotions?

Easter Sunday 2027 falls on 28 March, with Good Friday on 26 March and Easter Monday on 29 March. Promotions labelled ‘Easter weekend’ should state exact start and end times in their terms, including the cut-off hour on the last day. Check the validity period too, because spins credited on Good Friday with a 7-day window expire the next Friday. Our bonus expiry guide explains how deadlines are counted.

Can I get casino spins for betting on the Grand National?

Not from a UK-licensed operator since 19 January 2026, when promotions combining more than one gambling product were banned. A bookmaker can run a racing offer and a casino can run a slots offer, but one incentive can’t require both. If you see a combined offer, check the operator’s licence. Our mixed-product promotion ban page explains what counts as a separate product.

What wagering do Easter casino bonuses have?

At most 10 times the bonus amount, the UK cap since 19 January 2026. A £15 Easter bonus would need no more than £150 of wagering, costing about £6 on average at a 4% house edge. Spins with no wagering pay winnings straight to your cash balance instead. Always check the deadline alongside the multiple. Our how to calculate wagering requirements guide shows the method step by step.

Do Easter bonuses take longer to withdraw?

The bonus itself doesn’t, but bank holidays can slow some payment methods that count business days. Coral and Ladbrokes, for example, quote Fast Bank Transfer at 2–4 business days once approved, and 10bet quotes up to 3 business days for bank transfers. Check your casino’s published times and verify your account early. Our page on how long withdrawals take after a bonus lists partner timings.

Which slots are used for Easter promotions?

Casinos choose their own games, but rabbit and spring titles such as Fat Rabbit and White Rabbit Megaways are typical. White Rabbit Megaways has a published 97.24% RTP and a 17,420× max win; Fat Rabbit is listed at 96.45% with a 94.15% version also in circulation. Check the help screen for the version in use. Our White Rabbit Megaways free spins page covers the game in detail.

Can an Easter offer exclude certain days?

Yes, but excluded days are a significant condition and must be made clear with the offer. In August 2025 the ASA upheld a complaint about a free bet voucher that wasn’t valid on Cheltenham Gold Cup day, because the ad left that out. If an Easter promotion excludes Good Friday or Easter Monday, the terms should say so prominently. Our significant conditions in ads page covers the rule.

How can I keep a long Easter weekend under control?

Set a deposit limit and a time reminder before the weekend starts; decreases to deposit limits take effect immediately. Reality checks and time-outs help if you’re playing longer than usual. If you want a complete break, GAMSTOP blocks all GB-licensed online gambling sites, and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 is free and open 24/7.
