What 10bet verification involves

Verification at 10bet is the process of proving you are who you say you are and that you're old enough to gamble. 10bet is run by Blue Star Planet Limited, which holds a Gambling Commission licence under account number 43173; you can see it on the Gambling Commission public register entry for Blue Star Planet (opens in a new tab). As a licensee, it must verify at least your name, address and date of birth before you're allowed to gamble.

Until 2019, online casinos had 72 hours to finish age checks, which meant some people could deposit before being verified. Rules in force since 7 May 2019 closed that gap: online operators must verify age and identity before a customer can deposit or gamble, including with a free bet or bonus, and before they can play free-to-play demo games. 1. Your name, address and date of birth are matched against databases such as credit reference agency files and the electoral roll.

Can 10bet ask for ID when you withdraw?

Only within limits. The Gambling Commission says a withdrawal request must not trigger requests for information that could reasonably have been asked for earlier, unless another legal duty requires it at that point. It also says a casino shouldn't remove your money because you couldn't verify within a time limit. Since 28 February 2025, licensed casinos must run a financial vulnerability check, using public records such as bankruptcy or county court judgments, when a customer's deposits minus withdrawals exceed £150 in a rolling 30 days. These checks don't use credit scores. The more detailed credit-reference 'financial risk assessments' were piloted but aren't live, and the Commission says it has no plans for 'affordability checks'.
