Which bonus has the lowest wagering?

Which bonus has the lowest wagering? Among our five UK partners, the free spins offers from Coral, Ladbrokes and PlayOJO have the lowest possible wagering: none, with spin winnings paid as cash. The two deposit matches, Casumo and 10bet, both use 10x wagering on the bonus, the most UK rules have allowed since 19 January 2026, but differ in pounds and deadlines.

Key takeaways

  • No wagering free spins (Coral, Ladbrokes, PlayOJO) have zero wagering on winnings.
  • Casumo and 10bet both set 10x, the legal maximum in Great Britain since 19 January 2026.
  • Compare the pounds you must stake and the deadline, not just the multiple: £250 in 3 days at 10bet versus up to £1,000 in 7 days at Casumo.
  • Lowest wagering isn't the same as highest value: no wagering offers are smaller.
  • Wagering has an average cost of total stakes × house edge, and bonuses don't change the odds.

Which bonus has the lowest wagering? The ranking

Zero beats any multiple, so the offers with no wagering come first. After that, both matched bonuses sit at the same 10x multiple, and the deciding factors become how many pounds you have to stake, how long you get and what limits apply. The table ranks our five partners' current welcome offers, checked on 5 October 2026. All are 18+ and terms apply.

Partner welcome offers ranked by wagering
RankOfferWageringPounds to stakeTime limit
1=Coral: 100 free spins after a £10 slots betNone on spin winnings£0Spins valid 7 days
1=Ladbrokes: up to 500 free spins after £10 on slotsNone£0Each day's spins valid 7 days
1=PlayOJO: 80 free spins on a £10+ first depositNone; winnings paid in cash£0See offer terms
4Casumo: 50% up to £100 (min deposit £20)10x the bonus£100 to £1,0007 days
510bet: 100% up to £2510x the bonus, slots onlyUp to £2503 days

We've placed 10bet below Casumo because its deadline is shorter and its wagering has to happen on slots, although at the maximum bonus it needs fewer pounds of play. For more ways to slice this, see our casino bonus questions hub and low wagering bonus page.

Lowest wagering multiple versus lowest wagering in pounds

Two offers with the same 10x multiple can ask for very different amounts of play, because the multiple is applied to the bonus, and bonuses differ in size. Here's what each matched offer needs at different deposits:

Wagering in pounds and per day at Casumo and 10bet
Offer and depositBonusWagering (10x)DaysAverage per day
Casumo, £20 deposit£10£1007About £14
Casumo, £50 deposit£25£2507About £36
Casumo, £200 deposit£100£1,0007About £143
10bet, £25 deposit£25£2503About £83

On a like-for-like £25 bonus, both need £250 of bets, but 10bet gives you three days rather than seven. A shorter deadline pushes play into fewer sessions, which is worth weighing honestly against your normal budget. Our wagering calculator runs these figures for any deposit.

What the wagering costs on average

Every pound staked carries the game's house edge, so you can estimate the average cost of wagering as total stakes × house edge. On slots with a 96% RTP, the edge is about 4%.

Casumo £100 bonus£1,000About £40£100About £60

These are long-run averages. Any single attempt can end with nothing left, especially on high-volatility slots, and some will finish ahead. A bonus doesn't change a game's odds or make gambling cheaper overall. The expected value of a casino bonus guide explains the method.

Is the lowest wagering bonus always the best?

Not necessarily. No wagering offers are simple and transparent, but they're small: £8 of spins at PlayOJO, £10 at Coral and up to £50 at Ladbrokes, all at 10p a spin. A matched bonus offers a bigger balance in exchange for 10x wagering and tighter play rules. Which suits you depends on how much you planned to deposit anyway and whether you want any conditions on your account at all.

Advantages

  • No wagering: winnings are cash and the value is easy to judge
  • No wagering: no max bet or game-weighting rules on the winnings
  • 10x matched bonus: larger balance for the same deposit
  • 10x matched bonus: far lower than multiples like the 50x in the Commission's own example

Drawbacks

  • No wagering: smaller offers, fixed 10p stakes, selected games only
  • 10x matched bonus: the bonus can be lost before it converts
  • 10x matched bonus: deadlines of 3 to 7 days and a £5 max bet at Casumo
  • Both: the house edge applies to every spin and bet

Why 10x is now the highest wagering in the UK

Since 19 January 2026, the Gambling Commission's rewards and bonuses code (opens in a new tab) has stopped any licensed operator in Great Britain from requiring a bonus to be played through more than 10 times. In its announcement of the change (opens in a new tab), the Commission gave the example of a £10 bonus with 50x wagering needing £500 of play before winnings could be withdrawn; at 10x, the same bonus needs £100. An outright ban on wagering was considered in the consultation response (opens in a new tab) but not adopted.

So any UK-licensed bonus you see now has wagering of 10x or lower. Our 10x wagering cap page and the 10x vs 35x comparison show what this means in pounds.

Terms that raise the real wagering

  • Game weighting. If a game counts at 10%, £100 staked on it clears only £10 of wagering. See game weighting.
  • Eligible games only. 10bet's wagering counts on slots; play elsewhere doesn't help.
  • Max bet. Casumo limits bets to £5 with an active bonus; larger bets can void winnings. See casino bonus max bet.
  • Max win. 10bet caps bonus winnings at £1,000, which limits the upside but not the wagering.
  • Short deadlines. A 3-day window means more play per day for the same total.

How to find the lowest wagering bonus for you

  1. List the offers you're eligible for and note the deposit you'd actually make.
  2. Write down the wagering multiple and what it applies to (bonus or spin winnings).
  3. Multiply to get the pounds you must stake; zero for no wagering offers.
  4. Divide by the days allowed to see the play needed per day.
  5. Check weighting, eligible games, max bet and max win.
  6. Estimate the average cost at the game's house edge, then decide whether the remaining value is worth the conditions.
  7. Check that your payment method qualifies before depositing.

Which low wagering bonus suits which player

  • You want no conditions on winnings: a no wagering spins offer such as Coral's, Ladbrokes' or PlayOJO's.
  • You'd deposit £20 to £200 anyway and play slots over a week: Casumo's 50% match at 10x, within the £5 max bet.
  • You'd deposit £10 to £25 and play slots in a few sessions: 10bet's 100% match at 10x over 3 days.
  • You'd rather not take any offer: that's a perfectly sensible choice; see when to say no to a bonus.

Frequently asked questions

What is the lowest wagering requirement possible?

The lowest is zero, which is what no wagering offers have: winnings are paid as cash with no play-through. Coral's 100 spins, Ladbrokes' up to 500 spins and PlayOJO's 80 spins all have no wagering on winnings. Among offers that do have wagering, anything from 1x to 10x is allowed in Great Britain. See how do no wagering bonuses work and what is a good wagering requirement.

Is 10x wagering good?

By historic standards, yes: before 19 January 2026 there was no cap, and the Commission's own example used 50x, while 10x is now the most a UK-licensed casino can ask. A £25 bonus at 10x needs £250 of bets, costing about £10 on average at a 4% house edge. Whether it's good for you depends on the deadline, eligible games and max bet. See is 10x wagering good and compare 10x vs 35x wagering.

Which deposit bonus has the lowest wagering?

Among our partners, Casumo and 10bet both set 10x on the bonus, so neither is lower by multiple. In pounds, Casumo's smallest qualifying bonus (£10 from a £20 deposit) needs £100 of bets over 7 days, while 10bet's full £25 bonus needs £250 within 3 days. A no wagering deposit match is rare in the UK. See no wagering deposit bonus and Casumo vs 10bet bonus.

Are no wagering free spins really free of conditions?

No, they're free of wagering, not of conditions. Coral and Ladbrokes require a £10 slots bet or spend and exclude certain payment methods, PlayOJO requires a first deposit of at least £10, the spins are fixed at 10p on listed games, and each offer has deadlines. Winnings, though, are yours to withdraw. See are free spins really free and free spins no wagering.

Does low wagering make a bonus worth it?

Low wagering makes a bonus easier to value and cheaper to clear, but it doesn't make gambling profitable. The house edge still applies to every bet, and a 10x requirement on £100 has an average cost of about £40 at a 4% edge. A bonus is worth it only if you'd have played that amount anyway and the conditions suit you. See is a casino bonus worth it and is gambling with a bonus safer.

Does the 10x cap apply to free spins?

Yes, the cap applies to bonus funds, including winnings from free spins that are credited as a bonus. If a spins offer adds wagering to its winnings, it can't exceed 10 times. Our partners' spins offers have no wagering at all, so the cap doesn't come into play for them. See does the 10x cap apply to free spins and free spins wagering explained.

Why do some bonuses still have wagering at all?

Wagering lets casinos offer a larger balance while limiting how much bonus money leaves as cash straight away. The Gambling Commission considered banning wagering outright but chose a 10x cap instead, which took effect on 19 January 2026. Offers with bigger headline amounts usually carry wagering, while no wagering offers tend to be smaller. See why do bonuses have wagering and why casinos give bonuses.

Which bonus is easiest to clear?

An offer with no wagering has nothing to clear, so its winnings are withdrawable as soon as the spins are played. Among wagered bonuses, the easiest is generally the one needing the fewest pounds of eligible play over the longest period, with full game weighting. That points to a small Casumo bonus over 7 days, though results vary. See which casino bonus is easiest to clear and how to clear a bonus.

Do table games help me meet low wagering faster?

Usually not. Many offers count table games at a reduced rate or exclude them, and 10bet's wagering counts on slots only. Even where table games count, the result is the same idea: total stakes × house edge is the average cost, and no game choice removes it. Check the weighting table in the terms. See do table games count towards wagering and how game weighting works.
