PlayOJO withdrawal time is short on the casino's side: its help page says it processes the majority of payments within a few hours, sending money back to your deposit method where possible. Because winnings from the 80 welcome spins (after a £10 first deposit, 18+, terms apply) are paid in cash with no wagering, there is no playthrough to finish first. The total time also depends on verification and your payment provider.
PlayOJO says it processes most payments within a few hours; how long your bank or wallet then takes isn't published.
Withdrawals return to your deposit method where possible.
Verification aims to take 12 hours; contact support if nothing happens within 48.
No wagering on the welcome spins means no playthrough delay before you can withdraw.
You can withdraw as little as you want, and since 2021 you can't be offered the option to reverse a withdrawal.

PlayOJO withdrawal time in brief
PlayOJO's help page says it processes the majority of payments within a few hours. That is the casino's part of the job. After that, your bank, card issuer or e-wallet has to receive and post the money, and PlayOJO doesn't publish how long that step takes for each method. In practice, then, the total is "a few hours, plus your provider's time", assuming your account is already verified.
For anyone who has claimed the welcome offer, there's a second piece of good news. The 80 spins on Big Bass Bonanza pay their winnings as cash, so there is no wagering stage between spinning and withdrawing. The PlayOJO casino bonus review has the full offer; this page is about getting money out.
Withdrawal times on this page are PlayOJO's own published statements from its help page, checked on 20 October 2026. They are not measured times, and individual withdrawals can take longer, for example if extra checks are needed.
The stages of a PlayOJO withdrawal
Every casino withdrawal passes through the same broad stages. Here's how each one looks at PlayOJO, using what the help page publishes:
PlayOJO withdrawal stages and published times

1. Verification

3. Processing

4. Provider

Stage 1 should normally be done before you ever deposit, because UK rules require identity checks before gambling. If it is, a withdrawal goes straight from stage 2 to stage 3. Our glossary entries on pending withdrawal and payout time explain the terms casinos use for these stages.
Why no wagering spins shorten the wait
On a wagering bonus, the clock that matters most isn't the payment processor; it's the playthrough. A £25 bonus at 10x, as with 10bet's welcome offer, needs £250 of stakes within 3 days before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. Casumo's offer asks for 10x the bonus within 7 days, so up to £1,000 of stakes on a £100 bonus. Until that's done, bonus-linked winnings can't leave the account.
PlayOJO's 80 spins skip that entirely. If the spins return, say, £6.40, that £6.40 is cash in your balance and can be requested straight away, subject to verification. The PlayOJO bonus wagering requirements page shows the sums, and our guide on how no wagering spins pay out explains the mechanism across casinos.

Verification: the step most likely to slow you down
PlayOJO's help page lists a passport, driving licence, ID card or utility bill as acceptable documents, uploaded through its upload tool rather than by email. It says it aims to verify within 12 hours and asks you to contact support if you've had no answer within 48 hours.
Gambling Commission rules work in your favour here. A casino must check age and identity before you gamble, and it can't make proof of ID a condition of withdrawal if it could have asked earlier, except where the law requires a check at that point. The Commission's page I can't withdraw my winnings (opens in a new tab) explains these rights. Anti-money-laundering rules can still require source-of-funds questions later, especially on larger sums; our guide on how to verify your casino account covers both kinds of check.
How to withdraw from PlayOJO
Log in and check your account is verified; if documents are pending, upload them through the upload tool.
Open the cashier and choose the withdrawal option.
Select the method; PlayOJO pays back to your deposit method where possible.
Enter the amount. The help page says there's no minimum: you can withdraw as little as you want.
Confirm the request. It can't then be reversed back into your balance.
Allow for PlayOJO's processing (most payments within a few hours) and then your provider's own posting time.
If a withdrawal is taking longer than you'd expect, ask live chat (available after login) or email support@playojo.com; there's no phone line listed on the help page.
Withdrawal methods and where your money goes
PlayOJO pays withdrawals back to the method you deposited with where possible, a practice usually called closed loop. It reduces fraud and money-laundering risk, and it means your choice of deposit method largely decides your withdrawal route. The help page names debit cards, Payz, Apple Pay and Trustly among its methods; the cashier shows the current list and which can receive withdrawals. Per-method times beyond PlayOJO's processing aren't published.
Fees aren't published either, so check the cashier before you request. Commission guidance says any withdrawal fee must be disclosed before deposit, must not exceed the direct cost of processing, and can't be charged on withdrawing your full deposit balance. Our PlayOJO payment methods page goes through each method.
Your withdrawal rights under UK rules
Since 31 October 2021, UK online casinos haven't been allowed to offer you the option to cancel a withdrawal request and gamble the money instead, a practice called a reverse withdrawal. The Commission set this out in its decision on prohibiting reverse withdrawals (opens in a new tab). Once requested, your withdrawal goes ahead.

No regulation sets a maximum number of hours for a withdrawal; the times quoted by casinos are their own. Our withdrawal rules page and the bonus withdrawal rules explainer cover these protections in full.
Common reasons a PlayOJO withdrawal takes longer
Verification outstanding: documents not yet uploaded or not readable.
Method can't receive payouts: some deposit methods can't take withdrawals, so another route is needed.
Extra checks: financial vulnerability or source-of-funds checks; since 28 February 2025 these apply once net deposits pass £150 in 30 days.
Provider time: your bank or wallet posts the payment on its own schedule, including weekends and bank holidays.
Name or detail mismatch: the payment account must be in the account holder's name.
If you think a withdrawal has been unreasonably delayed, complain to PlayOJO first. A business has eight weeks to resolve a complaint before it must offer independent dispute resolution; IBAS is one of the approved services and explains the process on its page on how to raise a dispute (opens in a new tab). Our why was my withdrawal declined and PlayOJO bonus complaints pages explain the next steps.
PlayOJO withdrawal time vs Coral
Coral's help centre describes withdrawals as approved by a review team and then reaching you "instantly to five banking days" depending on the method, with Visa Fast Funds approval typically a couple of hours and then up to 4 hours to reach the bank, and Fast Bank Transfer taking 2–4 business days once approved. Coral says it charges no withdrawal fees. PlayOJO gives a single broad statement (most payments within a few hours) and no per-method breakdown. Both are their own published figures, not guarantees of individual payouts. Our page on how long withdrawals take after a bonus compares all five partners.
Withdrawing winnings and keeping control
A quick withdrawal is also a safer-gambling tool: money in your bank isn't money in a casino balance. If the welcome spins return a few pounds, withdrawing them rather than replaying them keeps the offer as what it is, a small bonus on a £10 deposit. Gambling winnings aren't taxed for UK players, so what arrives is yours in full. If you find yourself chasing losses, the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) is free and open 24/7, and our responsible gambling page lists further support.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a PlayOJO withdrawal take?
PlayOJO's help page says it processes the majority of payments within a few hours, then your bank or wallet needs its own time to post the money, which PlayOJO doesn't publish per method. If your account isn't yet verified, add the verification step, which PlayOJO aims to complete within 12 hours. These are the casino's stated times, not measured results, and some withdrawals take longer if extra checks are needed. Our payout time glossary entry explains how casinos describe these stages.
Can I withdraw PlayOJO free spins winnings immediately?
Yes, winnings from the 80 welcome spins are paid as cash with no wagering, so they can be requested as soon as the spins are finished, subject to your account being verified. That's different from wagering bonuses, where bonus winnings stay locked until the playthrough is complete. The spins follow a first deposit of at least £10, for new UK customers aged 18+ outside Northern Ireland. Our answer to can you withdraw free spins winnings explains the general rules.
What is the PlayOJO minimum withdrawal?
PlayOJO's help page says you can withdraw as little as you want, so there's no published minimum. That's useful after the welcome spins, which often return only a few pounds; you don't need to keep playing to reach a threshold. Individual payment methods may have their own practical limits, so check the cashier. Commission guidance also stops casinos capping how much of your deposit balance you can withdraw. See our withdrawal limit glossary entry for the wider rules.
Does PlayOJO charge withdrawal fees?
PlayOJO doesn't publish withdrawal fees in the information we hold, so check the cashier before requesting. Under Gambling Commission guidance, any fee must be disclosed before you deposit, must not exceed the direct cost of processing, and can't be charged when you withdraw your full deposit balance. By comparison, Coral's help centre says it charges no withdrawal fees. Our withdrawal rules page sets out what UK casinos may and may not charge.
Why is my PlayOJO withdrawal pending?
A pending withdrawal usually means one of three things: verification isn't complete, the casino is carrying out its processing review, or extra checks such as source-of-funds questions are needed. PlayOJO says it processes most payments within a few hours and aims to verify within 12 hours; if you've heard nothing after 48, contact support via live chat after login or by email. Our glossary entry on pending withdrawal explains the status and what it means.
Which method is fastest for PlayOJO withdrawals?
PlayOJO doesn't publish per-method withdrawal times, only that most payments are processed within a few hours and that they go back to the deposit method where possible. Because of that closed-loop approach, the method you deposit with largely decides how you're paid. How quickly the money then appears depends on your bank or wallet rather than PlayOJO, so check the provider's own timings too. Our PlayOJO payment methods page covers what each method offers.
Can I cancel a PlayOJO withdrawal?
You shouldn't be offered the option. Since 31 October 2021, Gambling Commission rules have banned reverse withdrawals, meaning online casinos can't let you cancel a withdrawal request and return the money to your balance to gamble. Once you've confirmed a withdrawal, it proceeds. The rule exists because reversing withdrawals was linked to harmful play. Our glossary entry on reverse withdrawal explains the background and when the rule began.
Do I need to verify my account to withdraw from PlayOJO?
Yes, but under UK rules verification should happen before you gamble, not at the point of withdrawal. PlayOJO's help page lists a passport, driving licence, ID card or utility bill uploaded through its upload tool, and aims to verify within 12 hours. A casino can't make ID a condition of withdrawal if it could have asked earlier, though anti-money-laundering rules can require further checks. Our PlayOJO verification page gives the detail.
Are PlayOJO winnings taxed?
No, gambling winnings aren't taxed for UK players, whether they come from bonus spins, your own stakes or OJOplus. The tax burden falls on operators instead: remote gaming duty rose from 21% to 40% on 1 April 2026. You don't need to declare casino winnings as income. Interest or investment returns on money after you've withdrawn it follow normal tax rules. Our page on gambling winnings tax explains the position in more detail.
What can I do if PlayOJO won't pay a withdrawal?
Start with PlayOJO's complaints process, keeping copies of messages and screenshots. The casino has eight weeks to resolve your complaint; if it can't, it must refer you to an independent alternative dispute resolution service, which is free. IBAS is one of the approved providers. The Gambling Commission doesn't settle individual complaints but does take reports. Our guide on where to complain about a casino walks through each step and what evidence to keep.
